Reading some of the comments, I'm counting Courtois as Atletico in my team. If it wasn't him, I'd put Lloris or De Gea in goal.

Just because Mourinho favours the more industrious type of player, fans like Say My Name have jumped on the "Mata isnt a good player haha he should be nowhere near a World XI" bandwagon. Sad really. Pathetic.

He is a quality player i'm not arguing that. Just I think I could name 20 comparably good or better attackers.

Excluding strikers makes it harder of course.

Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Suarez, Hazard, Neymar, Ozil, Silva, Robben, Ribery, Di Maria.

There are 11, some of whom may be debatable but whatever.

Mata is brilliant but he isn't alone.

Yeah I fully agree. Same can be said of Ozil. Madrid wanted to keep Di Maria ahead of him, despite Ozil being thr better player, and his workrate is one of the key reasons why. Ozil's drop in form hasn't all of a sudden stopped him being one of the top players in world football, and you could swap him for Mata in that team if you wanted.

Ok, so Mourinho prefers the Brazilian Henderson over a world class attacking midfielder, doesn't mean he is better - Fergie preferred Saha to RVN and Hernandez and Welbeck to Berba because they were better fits for the team.

TCW, whether that is the case or not, it doesn't make any difference to picking a best 11 from different teams does it?

You could have five better players that are all strikers but one would have to be left out.
