If anyone can go to Liverpool and get 3 pts, it's Jose.

However, I think it's finally THEIR year though The stars seem to have aligned for them. It's almost like it's meant to be for them with the 25 yr anniversary and all.

If they do win it, hopefully it will inspire us to be MUCH better next season.

very true, weird how football is like that though.. we had it with the 50th anniversary of Munich in 2008 when we won the CL. Good times.

You would hope so, but inspire us how?

It might bother the fans, but I'm not sure it will bother the players.

It would more likely make them definite favorites going into next season, therefore, no shame in losing to them - Moyes logic.

Hopefully the chance to take the title back off them would serve as good motivation, I meant.

Although with Moyes I can't see us winning the title.

With Moyes the fourth place trophy will be our target

Liverpool winning the title is a victory for football (which makes other clubs incredibly jealous as there's no reason they can't do the same).

Chelsea would be a victory for oil money... and no one can compete with oil money.

football threw its morals out of the window in 1992, and the oil clubs have been victorious before. It's not like a first time thing

There's a logical flaw here. Surely if other clubs can win the league by playing football, then anyone can compete with oil money.

If we bought Kroos, Reus, Shaw and Carvalho this summer (we won't obviously) But if we did, I still wouldn't be confident that Moyes would lead us to the title.

Well he would probably get us top four though...
And then be sacked at the end of next year after the board realizes that this is as far as he can go and once we had this monkey 'United stick with their managers' off our back.

Are you saying, for argument's sake, that if we got those players and, say, Klopp, you'd be confident of winning the title?

Because I wouldn't!

posted on 17/4/14

I'd be more confident than under Moyes.

David Moyes finishing higher than Jose Mourinho? Just doesn't seems a reality to me. And Chelsea aren't the only team we have to catch now.

Klopp is a much better manager than Moyes. MUCH better.

We have major problems catching CIty,Chelsea and now Liverpool, whatever happens in the summer regarding Moyes and players. Chelsea will buy Costa probably and maybe another top forward, City will strengthen their defence, Liverpool if and when champions will spend a lot.
Then there is Arsenal..on second thoughts, forget about them.
It's not easy to gel a new team with leaders and players with a winning mentality. I expect us to sign a couple of PL proven players, possibly Shaw and one other and a couple of very high profile foreign players

i dont care who wins the league to be honest, either way its gonna be dog shít whoever does.

i dont want Liverpool to win it for obviuos reasons ( although i do feel they probably deserve it, and with it being the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough it almost seems fate).

i dont want city to win it, again for obvious reasons.

as for chelsea, i fecking hate terry, luiz and cole with a passion.

whoever wins it will have to put up with Terry turning up in full kit anyway.

They can, it's what I'm saying

The reason everyone is so bitter about it is because it highlights the current flaws in their own club.

The reason we are so bitter is we hate Liverpool with a passion ! That's not to say they don't deserve it if and when they win it. Also it takes them to one league title less than ours and means they will strengthen big time and are back. Now that's bitter !!
