You're asking a lot,opening goal,winning the game,and a long unbeaten run.
How often have we all seen a win kick start a team's season and not just our own teams? It happens all the time. Going behind pees us all off especially at home. I say break that trend and good form will follow.
I dnt know if Tims comedy line-ups will sustain a winning street, but I know what you mean mate, we have had games or little runs in the season when you think, this is it, they have finally clicked, one or two more wins and we will push on, only to be shown another false dawn.
We've only scored first once in our last 12 games which is despicable form. I wonder if this all reflects Tim's philosophy of 'imposing ourselves later'.
Not so little at times OddiY, didn't we have a good one under Boas? Tim does have comedy line ups I agree but once the winning momentum is there it's hard to stop.
No plan, no organisation. They're not being sent out in the right frame of mind. Considering that's supposed to be the one thing Tim's good at its just another reason to get him out asap.
A winning streak isn't going to do much for us this season with the few games left, roll on next season.
I just don't think we are that good and that's the truth. United win their game in hand and they go above us. This s hit united side managed by that useless Gollum f uck can actually go above us <dod> I don't care if they are united or not, they are s hit but unfortunately we are worse. Can't wait to end this season and get a new manager in plus rid of the cr ap infesting our team.
Despicable form Spurtle so once it changes we will go. Pav, a win changes everything about the moods of players and as I've said once the momentum is there and good fortune comes then it lasts, especially with Spurs.
Any defence that goes down 3-0 to Westbrom in 30 minutes needs to be dragged out and shot. Sorry but I don't care about the comeback because that was already ruined by the pathetic start we made.
Hope you're right Dawn, a home game against Fulham should be the ideal way to get back on track.
Ade's,I have seen the trends at the end of the previous season carry over to the start of the next so a winning run if it happens this season I think will carry oer to the next and especially with a top name with us.
Yes, this is Dawn and not MOD posting Pav, how did you guess?
Don made 2 posts without mentioning Lennon.... Must mean he's loving him again
The pathetic starts are down to Sherwood though Don, well and Rose. All it takes is a decent manager and you eliminate the bad starts. What I don't get is how since the Chelsea game we're always conceding in the first half, whereas before that for a while we were only conceding in the second half.
It's just a bad trend Spurtle.
I see your point, if that occurs then that would be the one good thing to come from the season.
MOD - It's two different bad trends.
The sooner Sherwood leaves the sooner we don't have to put up with it.
