"Has single handedly carried a poor Madrid team"
To what?
What did they win?
I'm pretty sure Forlan scored as many if not more than Ken Ageuro.
Therefore he did not carry Athletico and he's not the best striker in the league.
A very good performance against Swansea does not turn Sergio Aguero into Jesus.
Aguero was outperformed by Forlan.
Excuse me, but where is Torres?
Not only has the guy left out Torres which is a crime in itself, he has put Aguero as one of the top strikers in the Premier League after a 30 minute performance against a newly promoted team. Cahill scored a similar goal to Aguero's second against a newly promoted team so why isn't he on the list?

Lets not get into Aguero's pedigree. He is the most sought after striker bar Messi in world football.
Agüero has scored 68 league goals. That's five more than Carlos Tevez. But it's not just about the goals; it's more about the inventiveness. "I play with shadows," Agüero says. He is not talking about his team-mates but at times he might have thought he was. "You two [Reyes and Agüero] are really destroying teams," José Antonio Reyes was told after one game last season. "Well, er, two?" replied Reyes. "Kun."
Rooney does not get 250k per week
The sun may report this but it's not true.
However feel free to continue taking it as bible.

The Atlético-supporting columnist Iñako Díaz-Guerra raved: "In 30 years, I've seen some great players, from Hugo Sánchez, to Torres, Futre, Caminero and Kiko, but none ooze excellence like Kun,"
I think we can safely say that in his current team Torres has had his day!
In 5 years in La Liga he only scored 20 more than Ronaldo did last season

Maybe as he was the only one who was available, other top strikers are already with great teams.
I'm not doubting he's a great player but calling him the best in the Premier League after 10mins just makes you look a bit stupid IMHO

And you a United fan should know something about football!
Read the article its about service! You could put Michael Owen in that Real side and he'd score more than Ronaldo!
And you as a City fan have proved you know very little about football.
OP I suggest you read the article again yourself. It is by no means clear what point you are tyrying to make.

And as a City fan you obviously know nothing about football. Michael Owen played in a far superior Real Madrid side and didn't get 54 goals
I just can't take this thread seriously. Where are:
Tevez
Berbatov
Suarez
Kevin Davies
Defoe
DJ Campbell
Bertie and Dying
Its service that ultimately makes a success out of a striker.
Aguero has it with Dzeko, Silva, Bale and Nasri.
Van Persie and Rooney lack it.

You really are thick aren't you? Either that or just just a rubbish WUM
No service.... I'm pretty sure Nani had more Premier League assists than anyone else last year, thats quite good service if you ask me.
Just give up now, your only digging yourself in deeper!
Bale? Jeez that's been kept quiet.

Nani, Young and Rooney himself all got more assists than any City player last year. Starting to wonder why you bothered with this article
