The point is that Ozil has proven himself on the biggest stage at a World Cup and been a success at the biggest team in club football. He is one of the most highly rated players in the world by other players and coaches. Hazard may have done better in the PL so far but for Carragher to not be sure if Ozil can "reach his level" is laughable.

Ozil is a better playmaker than Hazard but Hazard is more of a match winner and influences games more than Ozil. Hardly a laughable suggestion.

Suarez, on the other hand, well Carra is spot on. Ozil isn't in his class.

With the right striker Ozil will easily distribute game-winning passes. When you're a pass before shoot player you do rely on surroundings.

That's what i'm trying to tell dubbed, Ozil is a top player but at the moment, Hazard is better than him, in most departments.
