No chance....

" and would probably be available for between £10m and £15m."

Not a chance, imo.

Talent wise, £15m is maybe around the right mark.

But because he's English and been in the spotlight this season, would be surprised if Southampton sold him for less than £27m-£29m

A very good player, but not one I think we will get or need.

Eriksen is a superior player in my opinion and should be given the no.10 spot next year. Don't really want a player like lallana on the LW.

He'd also likely cost over 20 mill as he's youngish and 3 English.

Chris has it spot on

He'd be a good signing for Spurs.

Do you think him, Lamela and Eriksen would work? I think it would be too congested in the middle and you'd probably need a more direct threat from the wings.

I think there will be more desirable clubs going in for him this summer. If United came in for him I don't think we'd have a hope.

Anyone think we'd have any chance of signing him

no.

and i don't want him. i think he's a good player but is massively overrated and for the price he would cost you could get as good a player for half the price on the continent if you scout properly

I doubt he'd even want to leave to come to us tbh

I'd rather play for Southhampton than Spurs let alone all of the other clubs he's linked with.

Think I'd rather concentrate on getting the best out of Lamela. Don't think we really need another attacking midfielder at the moment.

I'd keep an eye out for City going for Lallana.

He'd suit Pellegrini's style of play and I'm sure at some point they'll need to sign some English players to pad out their squad as the ones they do have don't have much of a future there.

mate. bale and modric were pivotal and playing every week in the sides that totally bottled it and collapsed year on year under redknapp. don't kid yourself.

it wasn't them alone, but they were the best players, and they didnt drag us through it when out form was awful and confidence was low.

We wouldn't get him. No top players will come to us in the Summer because the club is a shambles. Same is likely true with managers. Frank de Boer . Barely has more experience than Sherwood. Guy is a punt - maybe a good one.

We will do well to hold onto the good players we have now. We will have to gamble on players with potential or increase our wage structure. Right now there is absolutely no reason a good and respected layer would want to come to Spurs.

No direction.

Not a particularly good first 11.

No manager.

Almost no chance of finishing top 4 next season

No progression in terms of a new stadium etc.

A Chairman with a reputation for falling out with players/mangers.

A reputation for ruining players with decent repudiations.

RC - despite all that, we still are amongst the top half a dozen clubs in the country…. just think how good we would be if we actually get it right aye?

face it RC, you are a mug who wouldn't be happy unless redknapp came back so you could suck him off every home game

Are you having a fackin' laugh? You think Southampton would let their best player and captain, and an England international hitting his prime years, to leave for that? Good joke.

Oh I forgot another reason - Arsenal, City. Liverpool, Chelsea and United all pay higher wages.

My guess is we don't even pay higher wages than Newcastle or even the pikeys.

We are faaaacked

Lallana will be mad money. Shaw too. i reckon if you wanted to buy the pair you would have to shell out 50 mill at the minimum, which is absolutely ridiculous.

could shop around in France or Holland and get equal ability for about 16 mill.

Seems unnecessary. I will not rise to the bait.

I have said I don't think we are an attractive prospect for transfers right now.

If you don't agree then fine. But it has nothing to do with sucking people off.
