that slip

I think most fans would probably agree too, lots of sloppy mistakes, mainly due to lack of concentration. A pity but unlike previous seasons, I can see even more improvement next season.

Their defence is crap.

Oh dear oh dear. A Manc telling us where our team isn't good.

Poor wee thing.

But tbf he's right. Our defence simply isn't good enough. We don't defend as a unit unless we commit players behind the ball to defend and park the bus but we never do this. But we should be able to cope with simple attacks even without parking the bus...

It wasn't just Gerrad falling over or your awful defence, it was also the tactically naive Rodgers that cost you.

I think a DM if imperative for Liverpool. Someone who just so sits there and sweeps up any danger, a fernandinho type player

I'm right, though.

The defence isn't to blame, I think if you see what would have happened had Saurez not been missing for the first part of the season I think pool would have won it by a good few points

How did you manage to figure that one out OP?

It is tough to create a good defence and maintain the balance between attack/defence

Jimmy

Hard winning leagues when pool concede 47 odd goals.

Brendy has to learn, and City have to be applauded for winning it.

You would think only Liverpool and Jose existed,in media circles this year, especially.
Some pool fans were also arrogant in thinking it was theirs, weeks ago.
I was told by a red relative that it did not matter if Chelsea won at anfield..................oh dear.

Being naive and having rubbish players is the path to 12 wins, one draw and one loss in 14 matches

horrible, terrible, horrendous

I'll take more horrendous next season

The reason Liverpool didn't win the title is the dodgy linesman at the Ethiad

If he did his Job City would be -2 points and Liverpool +1. Title to Liverpool.

And the small matter of City having both the best first XI and squad of 23 in the league.

You hardly dropped any points at the start of the season though!

Terrible excuse of a man

The only reason Liverpool even had a small chance was epic and cataclysmic bottle job collapse of all time by Chelsea

How they didn't get 90+ points is humiliating. Loss after loss after draw after loss against dross at the close of the season

I wouldn't blame the linesmen. Our defence simply wasn't up for it. Today,I would say that Phil Dowd over reacted, especially with the second red. It killed the game.
