We are not here to talk about John Terry.

I was joking Jimmy

it plays out over 38 matches. Picking one incident out as the decider is a foolish thing to do. You can't pick one and ignore the rest

The only reason Liverpool even had a small chance was epic and cataclysmic bottle job collapse of all time by Chelsea

How they didn't get 90+ points is humiliating. Loss after loss after draw after loss against dross at the close of the season

Difference is we didn't have open top bus parade before we'd won it

with humiliating results like those Saloman, you had no choice but to go into hiding

you lost it vs Chelsea

Did we have an open top bus parade? When was that? Anyone Liverpool supporter remember that?

Yeah cos Stevie slipping, Suarez crying after losing a 3 goal lead to a team managed by Tony Pulis, and Sturridges dance are not humiliating

Shame on U

The reason Liverpool didn't win the league

I'm sure Liverpool fans will all bombard me, but it was because of Brendan Rodgers.

His naivety in the Chelsea game cost him. It was a game that Chelsea could not care if the lost, a game that you did not need to win and he still went gung-ho.

If you lot had kept the ball nicely in the middle, they wouldn't have been able to park their double decker bus and maybe bothered to come attack. They sat back, waited for you lot to inevitably make an error and pounce on it.

If he played for a draw instead of showing everyone his ego of 'I won't change my football' then you'd be winners today.

I was told by a red relative that it did not matter if Chelsea won at anfield..................oh dear.

Idiocy runs in families obviously then.

Im not going to get drawn in to an argument about bus specifications now.

Gerrard crying after beating City - the embarassing man!

It's really not. If you're telling me no Liverpool fan wished he didn't keep attacking in both the Chelsea and Crystal Palace game, then you'd be right. It was his naivety, as said by pundits too.

I wasn't trying to draw you into an argument about bus specifications. That would almost be as boring as watching Chelsea play and I wouldn't want to get involved in that.

So when was this open top bus parade you talked about?

posted on 11/5/14

we conceded to Chelsea passing the ball around in our own half, with Gerrard bolstering the defence as a 3rd centreback to see out the half.

yes, that's rodgers being naive.

posted on 11/5/14

It's very naive of BR to tell Gerrard to slip. An experienced manager knows not to tell a player to slip.

Yea,it was rather silly of my the guy who married my wife's niece to say the pool could win the league even if Chelsea beat them..........arrogance and stupidity is a pool trait this season.Lovin it.

Fat

It is silly to only attack Chelsea and Palace when you also need to defend, and even get a draw, but hey St Brendy knows best.

that's tactical naiveness hopefully we won't see next season

BR: "Note to self, telling Stevie to miscontrol a ball then slip a mistake in hindsight. DO NOT DO AGAIN"

Like I said, he was really naive to tell Gerrard to slip on the halfway line when Chelsea had 10 men behind the ball.

sorry phoenix but you show a distinct lack of knoweldge on roders with that comment. Brendan changes his approach all the time, uses different formations and styles, the way we play today is very different to the way we played a year ago.

You can call in naieve if you want but we take the game to the opposition, it got us to second this season and we wont change the mentality, its better to have it then not have it.

Brendan is not afraid to admit his mistakes and always seems to react to them, big lessons learned this season.

Have to laugh at all the mugs on here trying desperately to put Liverpool down.

Every one of them supporters of teams we are looking down the league at.

What's the matter is it embarrassing being down there....
