I really don't understand this transfer. The whole issue with Moreno seems to be his lapses in defence, with him being better going forward. Jetro Willems is every more that case.
Tbh toor, it looks like he's the one pushing the move.
I think we should just pay the money for Hector and be done with it!
Moreno will be first choice so people better get their heads round that.
Klopp wasn't after Chilwell to walk into the first team I wouldn't have thought.

I hope so. I think he can really become a top player, he has all the major attributes needed to be an excellent attacking full back. It's all down to him, to work on his weaknesses with concentration a big one. Experience definitely improves concentration. I find him very immature for his age and that's where I believe the issue lays with him.
I believe this is the big season for him, which makes him.

I also suspect Moreno will start vs Arsenal, provided he isn't injured of course.
Well if we sign a ready made left back with experience of first team football I expect I will.
If we sign some 17 year old kid who's never had any it would be pointless as Moreno will obviously still start in that case.

Well I'm betting that Klopp isn't looking for a first choice left back and that's why we were chasing Chilwell because he likes Moreno.

Just trying to create a balance.
Tbh I'm losing count of players that I have shown faith in that have turned out okay but were written off by all in sundry on here.
I have faith...I mean Buvac kinda sorted Lovren out for a couple of months.
Im not sure he did considering his strop for the national team
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Klavan play left back, he can play there reasonably well and can defend.
Klopp obviously likes Moreno as he has started most games under him.
But I also believe he won't put up with his ridiculous lapses forever.
It's up to a new signing to really push for a start and give Klopp something to think about. Smith and a half fit Flanagan have been unable to do this.
I don't see Moreno making the improvements others think he can make, but we'll see.
Our season will definitely suffer if he doesn't and still plays every week.
It's really just positioning and concentration imo
I dont think flanagan being half fit is the issue, i just dont think klopp rates him at all

I'm not sure about that. I just think that Klopp wants him to get loads of games this season to see if his body's up to it, and he isn't going to get that at the club.
If Klopp didn't rate him, then he'd sell him. There would be plenty of teams in for him.
