So we've trimmed the squad cutting away most of the dead wood, which is fantastic. I think we can all agree that we didn't get the amount of quality we would have liked but we have signed a couple of good players, which with time to settle will do a good job.

Mane is the one really exciting signing that we have needed for a while, someone that can terrify teams with his pace and power. I think the only things that could have been really polished off the summer would have been a LB & DM.

Can is our DM now. He might have to learn on the job but he does have the tools to be a very good DM. We also have Lucas as backup DM so I think DM is covered.

Keeping Sakho means we have 4 CB's now. It might take a few injuries for him to play but we have that cushion.

Our full back areas is weak. Left back we all know about but right back where Clyne hasn't been great we have Randall as cover. Randall doesn't fill me with much confidence too.

Rumours going round that Studge was offered to Arsenal by his agent because he wanted out but the club vetoed it.

Arbeloa was struggling in la liga by the end of his last season. As much as I'd have loved to see him return for nostalgic reasons I would worry that he'd struggle, particularly with a high pressing style and the need to get up and down the flank.
