I meant it was a poor attempt and will probably be ignored

Anyways I think the board has been pretty good in the lead up to this game

I would normally be thinking up my "cockneys cup final" WUM at this time but have so far resisted any temptation

Probably best to leave the wumming as they are probably favourites at Wembley with our shocking record in early kick offs and post international break games.

And our poor form!

We are winning of course but its not been as emphatic as we would like against lesser opposition.

After last season I can imagine we will be playing a completely different game. We've been lacklustre in attack so far but fairly solid (1 goal conceded speaks volumes).

I can imagine we will have used the break to address that.

Especially given the nature of the goal!!
