I made some amazing mash last night. Milk, butter and sea salt - lovely.

I like to add some wholegrain mustard or horseraddish sauce before mashing. Oh, and use cream instead of milk. Heavenly.

Anyone watch England last night? From the player ratings it looks like Trent and Shaqiri had good games but I couldn't care less for friendlies so don't know for sure.

England games are just dull as fek. We got carried away in the summer with there easy run in to the semi but we are still 2nd/3rd tier team in world football.

Nobody got carried away, most fans just enjoyed a long run in a world cup for once. I think we all knew it was down to the draw rather than us being a great team.

Hope you guys get knocked out of friendly competitions too.

And why shouldn't we get carried away, it was our best result in a world cup in nearly 30 years. The draw is irrelevant, we still got to the semis and were 22 mins away from a final.

Those who disregard that achievement are mainly the jealous fans of crap footballing countries who can only dream of getting that far at a World cup, even if they had a draw similar to ours.

Spot on. It was enjoyable but we know we aren't suddenly one of the best on the planet.

Wasn’t happy with Kyle Walker last night. You could tell he was clearly annoyed that TAA got throwing back role. Walker was giving TAA loads of abuse last night for bombing forward which was his role. It wasn’t his fault the midfield was shocking and couldn’t cover for him

As an older player he should be helping the young lad not atracking him on the pitch. Complete caant
