Spurs have smashed this transfer window...let's admit it.

Poch will hide it beautifully...especially with Sessegnon and Aurier...he's not gonna expose them.
I think Eriksen still might leave though.
Can I add a small point? Part of the whole moneyball thing is targeting players who are durable - not tempting fate but we saw Salah's condition in the charity shield, these are durable players who don't pick up niggles like Sturridge or Torres.
I hoped we'd get another option up front too but if we're throwing Origi or Shaqiri on and trusting Brewster, I'm happy.

Smashed it?
Do any of us actually watch a lot of french and spanish football to be able to say that ndombele and lo celso are any good?
betis just paid 20mil for Lo Celso a couple of months ago, so look to have rightly taken Levy's pants down on the transfer fee.
Sessegnon is the only one I would have liked us to have a look at.
Never heard of Lo Celso but Ndombele is a baller, was loosely paying attention to him after last year
lo celso is a loan, so if hes crap they wont buy him
all i know about him though is that he wasnt good enough for psg and got sold cheap

Thought it was a loan with an obligation to buy?
So locals on is that good they’ve loaned him to Spurs?

Sane a big loss for city
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Called it as soon as he went down on Sunday mate, looked bad the way his knee hyperextended.
Think my comment at the time was there’s his move to Bayern gone.
Shame as he’s quality.

They bought him for 20mil in April and can sell him for 3 times that 3 months later. Good deal for them

But if he’s that good you sell him, you dont loan him with an option to buy.
Imagine us lending one of our best players out with an option to buy?

They have. They have a very good group of players especially in the middle and final third. RB is the obvious issue but if they play with 3 CB's they may be able to hide that slightly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haven’t seen Ndombele or Lo Celso anywhere near enough to say if they’re good or not.
And i don’t like Sessegnon, so for me it’s a total unknown.
Would love to hear about the first 2 from people who watched loads of Betis and Lyon games last season.
Lo Celso is a great player. Technically very good, is dynamic and a good passer.
Ndombele and him will be their Keita and Fabinho.
