Looks like I have been honored by being unfiltered by Sandy.

I think he’s finally grasped the fact that once you filter 90% of the site, it’s no longer useable!

I’m going the same route as Neo, keeping my powder dry for now!

I might just filter him, genuinely the worst poster on the site.

I only have NSNO and dangerdog filtered.

All his own fans disagree with him so he needs some back up and who better to back him up that Mourinho is the man for Spurs than rival fans?

a person in my area has contracted it, they are the hospital. My colleague lives in a shared house, a nurse who works at that hospital also lives in that house

Posted this on the politics thread. Was talking with a colleague in Italy about what it is like over there at the moment
HI *****
Remote working is harder and more tiring than being in office!
Yes we are almost restricted in home , red zone means that everyone healthy is allowed to move from home only for very important things like basic shopping of food, going to the pharmacy or going to work.
A lot of companies in Italy have decided to close, others have decided to force employees to holidays , other are working normally , it is a mess , because it is the true that if people is obliged to work it is also very possible to take the virus and to pass it to weaker people. And weakers can be anyone of us who knows.
We trust that now people here start to understand that having parties in this period is not a wise thing since hospital are really collapsing.
Transports are normally working but I am not sure if they reduced connections for trains and bus for instance.
Supermarkets have been virtually assaulted even if transport of food is not affected anyway, but you know, food for Italian is a reason of life, so lots of people went to supermarket even during the night to make stocks for the next weeks-

Now I am taking a pause since I am working since this morning at 7😊
Having the line at home is not so good as I thought 😊
Let me know how it is there in Ireland and how are you.
Ciao

Of course it is. That person should be working from home or forced on leave, rather than risking other employees and the whole business having to close.

You've got to look at probabilities though.

The infected person would have to have come into contact with the nurse (in a hospital where the control of infectious diseases is excellent), then that nurse would have had to bring it home and then give it to the colleague...

Have any healthcare workers contracted the virus recently?

turns out its a doctor not a nurse, he said she so i assumed nurse (im sexist i guess)

my manager didnt seem to care when we were talking about it

Feck probabilities, that's why we're in this mess. If the risk is there, that's enough.

Airlines are only cancelling flights to and from Italy today. If this had happened weeks ago, the spread would have been much less and people may not have died.
