I'm not massively gutted about it anymore. We will still have one of, if not the best team in the country and will still have another chance with the ultimate motivation.

They won't void it. UEFA want to know who can play in the European competitions so worst case is that it will end up the same path as Belgium and Scotland where the table is what it is.

Villa have a game in hand and it won't take much to get that played while all the clubs will take a huge hit with a big chunk of TV money is missing.

I’m still very hopeful we will get the title one way or another, either by the season being ended early and us being declared champions anyway and by it being finished behind closed doors.

Of course there are more important things going on in life and it won’t be as glossy as we all hoped as fans but the players will deserve their medals when they get it. I still feel it’s a case of when rather than if.

There’s not been a single valid reason from anyone with sense as to why the season should be declared null and void. It hasn’t even been discussed by the league and everyone with any real knowledge of the situation says that option is not on the table.

Its been mainly Sours fans and Arsenal lot. United fans are actually gutted because they had good momentum and would have pipped Chelsea to top 4.

There is no way they will pay £120m for Sancho to play in Europa next season.

Arsenal and Spurs fans are way out of top 4 contention so want season void to get over a bad season.

Yep. The situation with Spurs is the perfect example of why voiding the season is a ridiculous idea.

How on earth you can suggest a situation, where a team are currently 8th in the league and 7 points off 4th spot with three quarters of the season already complete, automatically given a champions league spot for next season?

It’s utterly absurd to think that is the most simple solution to ending the season under the circumstances.

Anything is possible, but it will be in this order..

1. Finish the season by playing every game, behind closed doors but all televised so everyone gets more money

2. Finish the season this year by ending it and using average points to determine the final placings

3. Finish the season by suspending the whole world of football until January / February 2021 (this is my preferred way) so we can have fans back at the game

4. Totally voiding it altogether - it’s the least likeliest thing to happen

It's pretty much just spurs fans talking about the season being voided, oh and Karen brady and she has had a major change of opinion now

These threads discussing this always take the same flow but I always seem to get sucked in out of boredom

Until we have clarity about when football can be played no decision will be made.

Re Voiding, I've been trying to bet these spurs mugs my user name but none of them will take it. Always has to be some caveat.

Worst case realistic scenario for me is the season being cancelled and current standings stand.

That way European places are confirmed,

re relegation I'm not sure, however we could see teams come up and the PL have 22 teams when the next season eventually starts.

This could happen throughout the pro leagues and sorted out over the few seasons to get the numbers back to normal.

I still hold out some hope that we will be crowned champions one way or the other. All the talk (aside from the ja606 spurs lunatics) is of ways to finish the season and award Final places, qualification For Europe etc, rather than how to void the season And pretend it never happened.

Gonna be a weird one trying to celebrate this though!

Elliot signs new contract and Klopp has no plans to loan out.

Excited to see how this kid develops, he looks the readl deal to me.

I honestly think he's ready to deputise under Salah. It wont be at the same level obviously but it will work wonders for his development.
