Gomez had an off-day, let's not pretend he's suddenly not good. Van Dijk makes mistakes too, such as against Leeds - you don't question him, he just had an off-day and so did Gomez.

One thing, I hope we get revenge against Villa when we play them at home.

You need to analyse the previous games when we conceded goals. The majority of those come from the right flank. I don't think this backline is good at playing the offside trap.

The zonal pressing which we play which means protecting the centre and forcing opponents to the outside and press them there needs high energy type of players. Milner, Gini and Hendo are essential for this otherwise we should play with a mid block.

Think we struggle sometimes as we have a very young right side of our defence when Matip is out. Can be found wanting sometimes.

So glad I didn’t see that game yesterday. Doing my best to pretend it never happened.

Can’t even put on the tv or radio or read any bloody sports sites and now we have to wait 2 weeks to see what type of response The team gives.

I absolutely embarrassed Tiddles in the h2h. I haven’t seen such an upset since 10:00 last night

I ended up with 25 points this week. Dunk, Ryan, Robertson all got 0, 0 and -1. Coady kept a clean sheet thankfully.

Antonio and Maupay getting 6 points each.

I need to replace De Bryune as my captain with Son. Need to get Lundstram out of my team in the next week as well, only got him on the bench though.

Here I was thinking McNeil was going to do the business for Burnley this season.

I gave Mamba the pounding of all poundings, 78-38! Big jump in the overall table too.

My wildcard worked a treat, brought in Salah as captain (26), Grealish (24), Sterling (9) and Calvert (6).

Calvert-Lewin will be another addition along with Grealish or Auba I think in midfield. The City boys not really doing it for me this season.

I’m utterly dreading the four weeks or so until Alisson comes back (took two off for internationals). The way Everton are playing, we better hope the defence bucks it’s ideas up.

Just wish we still had Mignolet as back up.
