True there will be vacancies next season. Like you said Wij will be gone and I expect Milner to move to depending on how much game time he gets.
I still don't see this Ox as a midfielder and Jones is raw and needs to learn the discipline.
Having said you could see us put a bid in for someone like Declan Rice to freshen things up. Plus he's English quota and all that.
Not sure our reluctance with Grujic. With Fabinho likely to have stints at CB, I'd have been tempted to keep Grujic as cover in the more defensive midfield role.
We don't really have anybody who can do that role (Henderson maybe but not sure it's what he's best at) so he could have seen a fair bit of game time.
Trust Klopp though.
Can't see Liverpool paying over the odds for Rice considering he would likely not be a starter anyway. There will probably be some other HG player available somewhere for half his price maximum to do his job, a bit like what Ox was really.
I think Jones is coming along well and offers something different doesn't look out of place in the midfield at all and I think Grujic would be a decent asset with his European experience this season with Porto and obviously his Bundesliga experience.
If Rice continues his early season form I can see him being in demand and an option for us in midfield. He's starting to look like a player now. I didn't see it before. I think we are going to see Fab in CB a lot more than usual this season and it could end up being his permanent role with sloppy Gomez and always injured Matip.
Grujic did play well in league cup for us, has to be said but he did well in Germany and Klopp still didn't play him in league so I dont think he rates him in his system.

Koulibaly will be 30 so forget him but Upmancano at £42m yes.
All hypothetical but if we win league or CL with Fab in defense then why would we need to change?
In midfield Henderson who will be 31 is already showing signs that his latter career will be blighted with injuries. In this scenario Rice would tick 2 boxes.

Maybe next year should the likes of Wijnaldum leave and with Milner coming towards the end of Oxlade-Chamberlain seemingly on the fringes due to injuries.

True there will be vacancies next season. Like you said Wij will be gone and I expect Milner to move to depending on how much game time he gets.
I still don't see this Ox as a midfielder and Jones is raw and needs to learn the discipline.
Having said you could see us put a bid in for someone like Declan Rice to freshen things up. Plus he's English quota and all that.

Not sure our reluctance with Grujic. With Fabinho likely to have stints at CB, I'd have been tempted to keep Grujic as cover in the more defensive midfield role.
We don't really have anybody who can do that role (Henderson maybe but not sure it's what he's best at) so he could have seen a fair bit of game time.
Trust Klopp though.

Can't see Liverpool paying over the odds for Rice considering he would likely not be a starter anyway. There will probably be some other HG player available somewhere for half his price maximum to do his job, a bit like what Ox was really.
I think Jones is coming along well and offers something different doesn't look out of place in the midfield at all and I think Grujic would be a decent asset with his European experience this season with Porto and obviously his Bundesliga experience.

I think we are going to see Fab in CB a lot more than usual this season and it could end up being his permanent role with sloppy Gomez and always injured Matip.
Grujic did play well in league cup for us, has to be said but he did well in Germany and Klopp still didn't play him in league so I dont think he rates him in his system.

All hypothetical but if we win league or CL with Fab in defense then why would we need to change?
In midfield Henderson who will be 31 is already showing signs that his latter career will be blighted with injuries. In this scenario Rice would tick 2 boxes.
