Seen a lot of contrasting bull shiitt flying all over the place. Carra just said on Sky that he’s heard that Matip starts. Won’t know until it’s announced either way.

Yeah I remember Matip was supposed to start against Spurs and didn't. He more or less decides if he can start.

First of all, positives as it wasn't all bad, Alisson and Fabinho sensational, Thiago also very good and ran the show. Hendo did very well at CB too.

At the other end though it was just staggeringly poor. Front three were just abysmal again. Never did it feel like at any point in that second half we would be able to create a moment of quality to win it. By the 70 minute mark we were completely out of ideas again as with the previous 3 league games. Genuinely feels like we could go for years without scoring the way we are going at the moment.

Salah and Mane deserve equal criticism but Firmino was just horrible. His goal return is getting worse every season and this game just epitomised why.

In my opinion we've got to be looking to replace him in the summer with a proper centre forward, or at least a player that is capable of getting 20-25 goals a season, he is barely offering half that. In the meantime, Jota hopefully is back soon and he's got to start every game there.

Overall, I think we've got to be fairly content with the point we've got because we could easily have lost that game, perhaps should have lost it with the chances they've had. Alisson the only reason we are still clinging on in this title race and we have to be thankful for that. Very disappointing again.

I think Salah will leave in the summer and we will go for a replacement. I wouldn't mind Neto from Wolves.

If we can get anyone from Wolves Jimenez on the site me of Trent and Robbos crosses would be lovely. He single handedly made people think Adama Traore was a decent player

Who is going to buy Salah when we are going to demand 100m? Spanish clubs can't afford it and they want Mbappe.

I don’t see Salah leaving. Selling our biggest output of goals every season would be pretty stupid, even if this kind of form is what we see for long periods of the remainder of the season.

Replacing a centre forward who’s a year older, only offers 10 goals a season and little else, is a much easier decision however.

We don't even need to sell Bobby. We have Jota to pressure Salah and Mane and we need someone to pressure and replace Bobby as 9. The likes of Origi need to be sold for better.

By all means keep him as a squad player as we know Klopp loves him, but let’s be honest, his goal return has always been poor in his career here, bar one particularly good season.

The kind of numbers he posts for one of the best teams in the league has never been good enough really. It has been overlooked because he has offered fantastic link up play and plenty of assists in previous seasons but we are rarely seeing that at all now.

I do think not having our first CB forces us to play a more a controlled game. We are in two minds whether to go all attacking or play with the handbrake
on and are afraid for exposing our defence.

Matip and Jota coming back will hopefully gives us more options.

Trent is not pushing higher up the pitch and is crossing the ball from a more difficult position.

I was thinking if Bobby doesn't turn the form around then it might be worth converting him back into a CM next season, especially with Gini going.

His all round game is still decent enough, it's just his finishing and overall output is weigh down.

He was the worst player on the park today, he doesn't look fit at all. That's what worries me.
