Yeah, if UEFA aren’t careful they’ll end up losing the sympathy they so undeservingly gained in the first place, and the ESL clubs will end up saying they have no choice but to start a league.

I reckon if it hadn't been leaked (to allow people to be piiiiissed off) and had been properly communicated from the get go, it would have been okay,
UEFA deliberately leaked misleading plans, I STILL see people trying to claim that the club's would be leaving their domestic leagues, when that wouldn't have been the outcome at all, which just shows how poorly it was communicated
On top of that I saw plenty of people (fans of involved clubs) coming round to the idea when they got past the initial fury of people like Neville, which was based more on the leak than the actual proposal.
UEFA banning or punishing anyone will hasten the inevitable demise of the CL. Clubs shouldn't have to accept corrupt, overreaching UEFA taking so much of the money they generate off them.

UEFA are just trying to publicly save face so it looks like they are in charge. In truth they have already made deals with the clubs which was one of the reason for the u-turn.

What are these deals UEFA have made with the clubs?
UEFA are in a lose-lose situation really with the ESL. If they do not give punishment to the clubs, everyone else will be asking why they haven't, whereas if they do I think if pushes all these clubs further to want to set up on their own again.

He wasn't in training but that doesn't mean he is 100% injured nor does is say how bad it is even if he is. He could just have a cold or be ill and was away from training that day not to spread anything.... hardly worth worrying about until we hear more.
