So who am I name changing?

Everyone played well on Saturday, Arsenal were barely a threat throughout the game really and were really poor in the 2nd half. The altercation between Arteta and Klopp seemed to lift the home crowd at a crucial time.

Nothing more than routine in the end, pleased for Minamino to get on the scoresheet as well in the league this season, hopefully a sign of good things to come.

I’ve seen a few people say Arsenal were good first half but I disagree, Ramsdale kept them in it but it could’ve been 4-0 at half time.

Still think we need a midfielder in January though.

Yeah, don't get the whole arsenal had a good first half, admittedly I started watching after 20 mins, but asked my brother (arsenal fan) how the game was going and his assessment was "There is only one team who are going to win this"

I don't think they were good in the first half but they just weren't as bad as they were in the second half, it was one way traffic throughout but the first half an hour was a bit flat which suited Arsenal.

I thought Ox played really well, in the first half he showed a spark that not many did.

Fabinho though made some crucial challenges. His sliding tackle when arsenal were breaking at 1-0 I think was brilliant.

I thought the first 25 mins they were very organised and made it difficult for us, we were struggling to inject tempo into the game. They were definitely posing a threat on the counter too. Carra mentioned they were mixing their game up well playing out the back, going long when they needed to which was right.

Then the Klopp/Arteta spat happened which gave us the tempo a lift, we created much more and got crucial first goal, I was confident we would win after that.

Second half they completely lost the plot though and made it easy for us, so naive to try play out the back every time like that against us, we were swarming all over them.

Dead today. Remember when it used to be a big deal when we beat Arsenal

Porto next. Klopp will make the odd changes but will still be a strong side so we can get the win money. My predicted team:

GK - Ali

RB - Neco
CB - Konate
CB - VVD
LB - Tsimikas

MF - Ox
MF - Hendo
MF - Thiago

RF - Salah
CF - Taki (Jota has a slight knock)
LF - Mane

Hopefully Origi is back, only play one of Mane/Salah. Would also swap VVD for Phillips.

Wonder if it would work with Konate and Matip at the back, VVD has been playing loads it feels and maybe could do with a break

God it would be such a help if Taki started getting minutes and delivering

I wouldn’t play fab or Thiago.

I think Ballon dor chasing Salah will want to play and he usually does.

The players will want their bonuses for sure. That's why we see the likes of Nat come on for three minutes.

Unsure what we'll go for.

I still think it will be a strong-ish side that will feature some of the big names playing. I'd want Kelleher to start in this game and I wouldn't even mind Morton playing either in the middle.
