Starting to like the club were right to not offer Salah a new contract.
Fans like Kash and Titty spent all summer attacking the club over the Salah deal and saying FSG's asses were tight but perhaps they know what they're doing and shouldn't always now down to fan pressure.

That does not even make any sense but nice try
Kept crying about Salah not getting a new contract but now quiet as a church mouse. If Salah does not return to form then giving him a new contract was a mistake IMO. We could have probably brought in Bellingham or AN other.
Lol you are really pathetic aren't you. Pretty much every fan said Salah deserved a new contract and rightly so he got one. His form hasn't been great but unlike you I will back my man because he has given me 5 great years and I see no reason why he won't improve.
To blame Salah new contract on not getting Bellingham a new low the boring top Reds

Shouldn't have given Van Dijk, Trent, Robbo etc contracts since they've been trash too. This is a squad wide problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol based on his theory Klopp should not have got a new contract

Quite excited for tonight and hope to see Jota and Nunez start, be good game for Salah to snaffle a couple too.
Konate ahead of VVD for me in this game too but reckon he may replace Matip just to protect him a bit.
Wouldn't be against Gomez and Konate given the fixture list and opposition despite the formers utter mare against Napoli.
Yeah I'm certainly not against any of the senior players being dropped tbh
My team having not seen training or anything;
Alisson
Trent Gomez Konate Tsimikas
Elliot Fabinho (or maybe Henderson) Thiago
Salah Nunez Jota

If Klopp lets him run wherever he wants then yeah.
If they just say stay at right back and largely have the game in front of you he'll pocket Kent in his sleep.

I'd be absolutely shocked if that happened.
I think it might be time to start Arthur and see what he can do ahead of Trent, with Fabinho and Carvalho in midfield.
Nunez out left, Jota middle, Salah right up top. We all know Nunez is capable out left and it might give him a chance to operate in more space and we know Jota is a predator in the box.
Agree with your back 4 though, it's absolutely time to drop VVD.
Just play Jota on the left and Nunez through the middle. Don't know why you're putting square pegs in round holes like this lol

===================
It's very inter-changable so that could work for us both ways.
Re: Trent I am at the point where I think Klopp has to do this. Watching Trent play 9 at times against Brighton was maddening plus he always looks gassed.
Keep him at right back, have him do less running, have the game in front of him and I think it would help everyone from Matip to Elliot/Henderson.
At least atm anyway.

Jota has been pretty anonymous generally on the left, Nunez has flattered to deceive in the middle.
Jota has been excellent for us in the middle and Nunez showed great form for Benfica out left.
It's not remotely square pegs in round holes.

I agree, I find it ridiculous how open we leave the right side of defence, but the big question is whether TAA has the discipline to stay at right back and whether that will have implications on our attacking game that outweigh the benefits of a more solid right side.
Frankly, first item on the January / summer shopping list is a right back for me. Then we have the ability to assess where Trent should be playing in the team.
Having two solid full backs has served us well on the left.
I'm pretty sure Klopp expects the rest of the team to cover Trent, especially maybe Fabinho moving over to the right and Thiago holding the centre.
Could be why he was so upset with him against Brighton
What I can't understand is lopsided right hand side. Sometimes it's Trent, Elliott/Henderson and Salah all staying wide right. It's mental
If Trent is playing as a right back where he focuses on the back 4, one of one battles, overlapping Salah then that is fine. If he is going to continue to freestyle then we clearly have not learnt anything.
Also I don't want Elliott in midfield at all. Rangers will play quite physical in midfield and he will get bullied.

Maybe a game for Arthur but more likely Henderson to get a few more minute and maybe Arthur and Elliot to come on for the final 30 mins.

I think he needs to be a WF again and Trent for me is playing for his place in the team atm, he just doesnt seem to care about his defensive duties in this moment
If your manager and coaches are telling you to roam the pitch as you see fit and even make runs beyond the striker...which mentally unstable person is going to think, 'you know what...maybe I track back the entire length of the pitch'
