Thuram ticks a lot of boxes. He is a great ball carrier and is very good in putting pressure on the opposition. We need a physical 8 on that right side and he could work well with Konate and Trent.

So is he B2B or more defensively focused?

Collymore scored 35 goals in two seasons, whilst not outstanding was a decent return. It's true however much more was expected of him.

Injuries for Kewell had started mounting before we bought him and ultimately were the end of him.

Morientes wasn't suited to the PL. Scored goals before Liverpool and when he went back to Spain got 19 in 37.

Keita I'd say also isn't suited to the PL so it will be interesting to see whether his injury issues carry on elsewhere as he clearly has the talent.

He is right footed and will play on our right side.

Is he an 8 though? Haven't seen much of him but looked more a 6 to me.

He even played as a winger this season for them doesn't mean we will play him on the wing.

Interesting. Sounds like a dynamic player who is a bit of an all rounder then. Just what we need.

Fair price for a good player, really hope it happens. Probably a few add ons and a fat agent fee somewhere on top.

Manage to get one more player of that quality and it'll make a huge difference, three and we're cooking on gas.

Yep, hopefully not on Mount and Gallagher. Mac is a great start though, quality player.

Thuram is an alternative to gravenberch I reckon.

I really like Gravenberch, hope it's him.

Then another Konate from somewhere who can play on the left. No idea who though.

Gravenberch lazy off the ball work was always the criticism here in the Netherlands and the reason why he didn't made the WC squad.
