Brighton are signing Dahoud says Fabrizio, presumably as Mac’s replacement. We were linked with him a lot a while back. Interesting to see how he does in the prem.

Must be Carvalho’s attitude or something from earlier on in the season. Supposedly he fell out with under 21’s Portugal coach aswell. Does seem a bit weird though.

@Fabrizio Romano

EXCL: Adrian stays at Liverpool also next season as new deal has been signed and it will be unveiled soon. 🚨🔴✍🏻 #LFC

He will be part of Liverpool 23/24 team.

FML. A joke, honestly.

Looks like Fabio's definitely had an attitude problem.

Just posted a pic on Instagram to which someone commented fresh home, and he replied "soon", and then another called him a model, and he's replied saying "all I do nowadays"

I understand he's probably frustrated about lack of game time but probably explains a lot.

Signing Adrian is just a complete waste of a non home grown squad space, utterly ridiculous.

We're probably selling Kelleher and don't want to lose both our second and third choice at the same time

posted on 29/5/23

With Firmino, Keita and Arthur (and potentially others, maybe Matip, Tsimikas?) leaving we have at least 3 non-homegrown places in the squad for new transfers.

With Milner and Ox going we are down 2 association players and 4 club-trained (Trent, Kelleher, Gomez, Jones).

Leaves room for 3 non-homegrown players and 2 association-trained players for us to sign this summer.

(I'm not sure exactly on whether we have to register Elliot/Carvalho next season as I can't be bothered working out their ages but Elliot would be club-trained and Carvalho would be association-trained)

Adrian is not good enough to be second choice, he’s Shiite.

I have a mate yeah I know, he’s an avid Brighton fan.

Anyways something popped up on the Brighton Facebook page apparently but was quickly deleted saying a deal had been confirmed to come to us.

We’re see.

Actually we are down to just one association-trained player in Henderson, so we need to sign a couple of association-trained players to fill out the squad.

Klopp has frozen a few players out over the years and got rid. The likes of Sakho, Clyne, Benteke, Sturridge. Either didn’t like the attitude or workrate. Can’t say he’s been wrong about any of them.

Tough on Carvalho because he’s a kid but if there’s something there that Klopp doesn’t like then fair enough. You don’t need the bad apples.!

Funny how he doesn't drop Van Disney or Fabinho after a year of clown shows but suddenly he finds a backbone when it comes to children, bullying cvnt.

Yeah this is very rare for Klopp. Clearly been a fall out behind closed doors. A few weeks ago we were only looking for a loan but now it seems he wants a permanent exit.

Big issue is even if we spend big by our standards, can guarantee we'll be outspent by all of our rivals, probably even spurs even if they still have no manager. So we've really put ourselves in the sheit and up against it.

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/einnahmenausgaben/wettbewerb/GB1/plus/0?ids=a&sa=&saison_id=2016&saison_id_bis=2022&nat=&pos=&altersklasse=&w_s=&leihe=&intern=0

So since klopps full season in charge we are 5th in spent, 200m behind 4th Arsenal yet only 70m more than Whammers in 8th 52m more than Everton in 7th and 15m more than penny pinching levys tottenham.

Chelsea 1.62 billion

Net we are 10th.

Note not the most accurate of sources, i know for example they put some youth players signed and sold for good money on clubs u23 page which skews it a bit but still gives an idea.

Arsenal I’m slightly surprised at tbh, but the other 3 we knew all about. The Chelsea and City stories have been told a thousand times and Utd were, for a while at least, the richest club in the world. Outperformed 2 of those 3 over the time period though.

Frankly if we’ve learnt nothing else from Chelsea in the last 12 months it’s surely that it’s not what you spend that matters, it’s what you spend it on.
