Liverpool have completed the signing of World Cup-winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton.

The Argentina international, who was one of the stars of Qatar 2022, makes the move to Anfield for what is understood to be for an initial fee of around £35m. Sources suggest it could rise to £55m.

Sky going with both

truth is nobody facking knows do they.

I’d be inclined to believe the higher figure myself. 35m just seems too low.

Mac Allister to Liverpool - Argentine set to start much needed rebuild process

Alexis Mac Allister has joined Liverpool from Brighton in a deal worth £35 million (€42m). Mac Allister has signed a contract until 2028, and Liverpool will be paying less than the initially reported £45-50m (€52-57m) for the 24-year-old Argentine World Cup winner. "It feels amazing," Mac Allister said in a club statement.

transfermarkt going with 35.

itll prob be what sky gone with 35 rising.

Either way its insane, without the clause i can only imagine he'd have cost well more than even 55m.

£20m add ons is a lot for a £35m transfer fee. Doubt it will be that much.

I'd believe initial fee of £35M with add ons potentially taking it higher. BBC with their usual know it all arrogance.

BBC confident that AMA will hit all his signing add-ons with us and cost the full fee

I agree tbh...unless there's obscene team related bonuses like winning the league or CL again...and even then it won't be amounting to 20mil

Also Big Mac ain't exactly Balon d' Or potential.

Alternatively we could've shafted them with ridiculous add-ons that he won't achieve...like winning the Balon d' Or

posted on 8/6/23

i dont think they are that stupid to accept nor us offer it

posted on 8/6/23

I'd guess it's probably easy add ons as part of the low initial fee in his release clause.

£10m for 50 apps, £5m for CL qualification type of thing.

hahaha bbc have fallen in line changed it to 35m

Also Brighton beat us to the signing of Evan Ferguson in 2021, so we do go for the same players. Hes on of their next to leave for big money i imagine.

10mil for 50 apps is insane lol

But I know it's just an example

Nunez add ons for example:

Two Portuguese outlets, Record and O Jogo, have claimed that the first £4.3m will come after Nunez makes just 10 appearances.

A further £8.5m will then follow after 60 games for Liverpool, with the final £8.5m to “depend on the individual and collective performance of the team throughout the contract.”

It falls in line with what the Times‘ Paul Joyce previously reported, with £12.8m expected to have been linked to appearances and £8.5m for performance, both individual and team.

With 60 appearances alone, Nunez would topple Liverpool’s existing club-record fee and you would expect that to come to fruition, meaning Benfica are expected to bank, at the very least, £76.8m.

We were telling rival fans that he needs to win PL and CL for us to pay add ons

Nobody does add-ons like us

Aquilani started it all

posted on 8/6/23

Never forget we sold Coutinho's add-ons to a bank for 90% of the transfer value as he was flopping hard for Barca

posted on 8/6/23

there was that 8 game period where aquilani was good, won 4 motms

Still remember that 'assist' where he tried to control the ball outside the box, fell over and Gerrard blasted it in
