I think we're definitely going to sign someone or else we'd be hearing the usual talk about how Klopp is happy with the squad and happy to wait until player x becomes available.

Whether or not the player we buy is actually any good or a panic buy is the big question.

I’m amazed that you manage to drag yourself out of bed in the mornings.

I still don’t think we sign anybody tbh. Or perhaps I’ve just resigned myself to that!

Would be a massive shame as without a DM we won’t see the best of our other summer signings.

I honestly can't figure out why some people think we won't sign anyone. The club are clearly aware that we need midfield reinforcements, and we clearly have money. Just because we facked up one transfer it doesn't mean that's that.

City have accepted an offer for Laporte, we should be all over that. I would normally have doubted that City would sell to us but not sure we are competition at this point and they sell to Arsenal all the time!

Maybe I’m being overly pessimistic but I’m not sure the right player (in the clubs opinion) is out there and available for us which usually means we sign no one.

That and there is now 15 days left in the window so clubs selling will be charging a huge premium which I doubt we’d be willing to pay for somebody who isn’t the right player.

Don’t get me wrong I think it would be very stupid not to sign one before the window closes but my expectations of the club have diminished rapidly over the last few weeks.

He's literally said we need signings and that we haven't got a number six.
