Wonder if there is any truth in the Sissoko rumours.

Apparently he was an alternative to Lallana, which seems odd as they are not similar players.

He would give us the kind of running power in midfield to give us a different option, is versatile, and not technically deficient either.

We've got runners in midfield...just need someone to add some power, height & strength...but Rodgers doesnt seem to prefer those players.

Is Sissoko any better than Henderson?

I thought emre can was that guy??

I have high hopes for Can actually. Lallana too and I really hope that we go all out for Moreno. It looks like Glen might be staying seeing as we've not made much progress in the hunt for a right back.

Can is only 20 to be fair. Plenty of time for him to become 'rated'. Holtby is nearly 24 now and has basically gone backwards for two years.

If we are letting Lucas go then you would expect we might look at another midfield player. It's the most physically demanding area of the pitch and you need options.

Gerrard, Can, Henderson and Allen is good, but a 5th wouldn't be too many IMO.

De Jong is an excellent player who would fit us very well

Good shout on De Jong.

I would like to see Can and Markovic be regular starters next season though to aid their development. I like the signings of young players - play them together and let the team grow together.

We have a 4 man midfield most of the time. Gerrard is the lowest point.

Thankyou have Allen henderson coutinho can lucas and lallana to pick from for the sides.

With all but can and lucas being eligible for the top too, along with sterling and any wide players we might bring in.

When gerrard is out I expect us to use a three man midfield, we have more than enough depth!

I think we may well go for a 4-2-3-1. Still have a front four that can do what they like and then have more options protecting the back four.

They will play how I tell them to play on twitter or else...

For our friendly against Brondby will we only have players who didn't go to the World Cup available or will Lallana/Lambert be available?

We might be a much better balanced side next season with 1 striker...

We can use Can in Gerrard's position so Stevie doesn't play every game and then have Henderson or Allen and Lallana or Coutinho ahead of him with Sturridge Markovic and Sterling up front.

I like that side.
