Nobody is good enough to fill Suarez's boots but I think we've all resigned to the fact it's happening.

That's what's worrying me Ilori, all potential and squad players that we've signed or been linked to. No one really filling me with confidence on coping without Suarez. I'm sure Rodgers has something planned though.

Di Marzio said Origi is at Melwood but not for his medical, also saying Markovic will be there tomorrow, so probably announce a double deal in a few days.

For the £6m that was reported for Origi it looks a good deal, with the £19m of Markovic it seems a deal that in 5 years time will be a bargain or will be a huge mistake. Rodgers really has helped Sterling improve so should do the same with Markovic.

Whether Coutinho is better or not is irrelevant. We need eleven players on the pitch and seven subs, every game. One player being better than another doesn't matter. We need a team and a squad after that. Lallana should improve the team and that should improve the squad.

Markovic is not a Liverpool player in a million years. We already signed Lambert who doesn't suit our system but with which we can alter it when need be. If we're gonna spend big money on a striker, he should come straight into the side and suit the current system.

In kind of wish we weren't loaning Origi back to Lille.

Having him and Lambert on the bench/rotation would give us real options to change a game.

I understand why it will happen, because he is better off getting more minutes at a good level, but it will be a bit of a shame all the same.

He doesn't even look that good imo.
