Tottenham fans blaming Levy despite spending yet another £165m having not even qualified for Europe is peak Spurs.

Every single season they start off convinced that this is the one they achieve something, and it always comes crashing down. Didn’t expect it so soon though….

Yeah, i mean maybe they underspent for so long under him that now they have been for the last 5+ years they've just failed to acknowledge it out of refusal to believe it? Or they just never look at what they do in the transfer market anymore

Why rotate when you have no European footy and this is your best chance of a trophy

They've got it into their head that they're an elite club. They're not. They've got a nice stadium.

Surprised theyve spent as they have since the stadium loan, thought theyd cut back even more to pay for it but its been the opposite.

This. Newcastle and Villa are bigger football institutions than Spurs.

And to be fair losing to Fulham on pens actually isn't that bad. They're a pretty decent team these days

Can't see him leaving, always felt he was a loyal, balanced sorta fellah but with the recent cash injection from SA who knows? that amount could sway most people I'd imagine?

IF it did happen do you think Mbappe is a realistic replacement option? can't see it myself but again, who knows?

Go on then.

He ain't leaving, has no plans to leave. He was even sight seeing in London yesterday.

Our PR machine are running with this story so it keeps the more pressing problem of needing new players secondary. Salah staying will be some sort of victory and people will come to terms that Endo is our DM because Mo is staying.

Yeah I think he's happy and wants to stay too, but prob will leave next year perhaps. He's had his absolute peak here, has absolutely achieved legendary status - but he's astute, I suspect he will be aware that staying too long and declining can affect your status at the club.

Mega money at Saudi as one of the most famous Muslim players in the world is a convenient way around that

Has to be said though even though i accepted it before the window even opened as i predicted it. If we end this transfer window with just 3 players signed and 7 out on the back of last season and a measly 50m net spend then questions have to be asked.
