VVD charged by FA

Virgil van Dijk has been charged by the Football Association for acting in an "improper manner" after being sent off in Liverpool's win over Newcastle.

Darwin Nunez and Luis Suarez scored the same number of goals in their first 45 Liverpool appearances

bet suarez had more minutes played..

Kind of expected that for Van Dijk. Frustrating and all steming from a poor referee. You're allowed to go through the back of a player nowhere near the ball but not allowed to win the ball coming through the player.

The officials really do fvcking hate us

Either way wrong or right it was stupid from VVD and absolutely pointless in doing what he did. If hes swearing at refs refusing to leave the pitch hes an idiot and deserves 3 extra games, club i expect will be fining him the weeks wages for the games he misses too. if its a further 3 games 3 weeks wages.

He’s got a pretty untarnished image, hasn’t he? They should take that into account, otherwise it’s just a draconian dictatorship. Which it probably is….

If I'm reading the laws correctly it's two games for being abusive to an official, which would obviously mean three games in total.

He’s pretty injury prone though. I’m basing this purely on the fact his name is a bit like ‘handicap’.

Hincapie wrapped up his debut Bundesliga season with 27 appearances under his belt, along with a tackle success rate of 85 percent and 82 percent pass completion.

yh but if we sign 3 others like him they can maybe cover 1 cb spot between them like we do with konate matip and gomez.

He can play LB as well apparently. Signed a new contract in February after two seasons, so they obviously rate him.

Bit worrying that he got three red cards last season 😳
