Would still like a top quality CDM, LCB and backup RB to make it the perfect summer but Gravenberch would be a good signing IMO. Sky is the limit with him.

Sounds like we’ll need a Salah replacement in January though as he must be off next year unless the Saudi league goes bankrupt.

If we can move Tsimikas, then I'll be more confident of bringing in a CB for the new system.

There's were some randoms about Matip the other day...but doubt that happens tbh

Thing I don't get with the Gravenberch deal is that it's widely reported that he wants out of Bayern because he wants to start more games and get more game time.

With us he's likely battling AMA, Szobo and Thiago for 2 of the 3 midfield places. I know the guy has an incredibly high ceiling but that's tough competition, albeit Thaigo will be gone next summer.

That said, as an attacking player it can't be much fun playing for Tuchel. Based on reports, it can't be much fun for any player.

To me it signals Mac10 as our new DM

Nah I don't think so either but we'll know more after the international break when everyone is back.

Hard to tell with Endo as he's played about 30 minutes in total with 11 on the pitch but he hasn't exactly looked great so far. Pretty sure he'll improve but by how much I've no idea.

I like to think it signals that we'll play a double pivot over Mac being the DM, as it surely plays to the strengths of the players we do have. Even Endo played in one a fair amount at Stuttgart.

Not sure can play a double pivot and inverted but if we did it would give AMA freedom to get forward. In my head at least.

To me it says Mac10 as the DM, Szoboss on the right and then either one of Jones, Gravenbach, Thiago on the left.

We double pivot with Mac10 when Trent inverts. We have options with Elliott and Endo as well

Gravenbach at the moment is not good enough to start for us and should be a bench option initially. There us a reason why 2 Bayern managers have not played him much.

I still don't know what happened with Jones but we don't want to rush Bajcetic back and Thiago will always need to be rotated so I see him getting minutes immediately tbh

I never want to see it again.

I do like Gakpo but one look at the bending run behind by Nunez for the equaliser means I want him benched. Certainly at home. Is Gakpo making that run? He's physically not able to and I feel it brings more out if Salah too.

Still can't forget how Sterling went past him in our pen area. His positioning wasn't even school boy level.

Jones doing a fine job of replacing Keita and Ox tbf to him, mighty fine.

I suppose the benefit of being in the Europa is it'll be easier to get the likes of Gravenberch up to speed.

Should get plenty of game time.
