Why do you wet yourself everytime someone wets themselves?

or we going to shoehorn in ama when graven cant adapt?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Be a big ask tbh so it'd be done slowly, the adaptation to the prem will be hard enough.
As it stands right now if one of Szob or AMA were to get a long term injury we'd start struggling very soon between other injuries and needing to rest players so getting ANY midfielder seems an obvious choice for me. We probably need one more DM but maybe we are just waiting for January and make do for now with one of the other midfielders filling in for now. I really wouldn't be too worried about AMA in DM with say Thiago and Szob in front for some games.

I guess we're not looking for a holding midfielder like Fab, who used to usually split the CBs when we were in possession. There's already a back 3 with Konate, Van Dijk & Robbo.
We double pivot with Trent so I assume we looking for someone who's more robust or mobile

Andre in Jan I reckon.

8's
AMA
Soz
Thiago
Graven
Jones
Elliott
DM's
endo
baj (but his best games were actually as an 8)
hmmm
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His best games weren't as an 8.
yep when fabinho returned and they played together
I thought his best games were on the left of the midfield 3
I like Baj picking it up quite deep but ahead of the DM.
Yeah that lopsided pivot when we went back to basics.

Fatti to Brighton on loan, didn’t see that coming.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's been around for facking ages and he's only 20
He was basically playing the Thiago role from the quad season...but a little different

Looks like Gravenberch is happening.
How are you going to spend your last day on the forum Kash?

Kvaratskhelia new contract has just €90m release clause.
For the benefit of Peter - WE SHOULD BE ALL OVER THAT
He plays on the left but he does look excellent

Yeah he does prefer the left. Diaz won't mind playing on the right hopefully.

Nah Diaz should play on the left. That’s where he’s best suited.
dont do this to yourself guys
Tbh he's not your generic inside forward that just cuts in from the left after receiving the ball. Sure he exploits that channel but to me he's just, I'm gonna press you and your future generations until I receive the ball and then exploit every space I can find all at once. He picks pockets of space really well.
You see Osimhen leaning to the left more than him
He could probably be just as effective on the right...but why move a world class talent
We don’t need another right footed attacker. If Salah goes we need a left footer.

A grovelling climb down should suffice 👍
I don't really mind what foot they are to replace Salah, as long as they're good. With Nunez and to a lesser extent Gakpo we have threats in the air.

Having players that can cut in from the right wing and take a shot at goal will always be more effective on their stronger foot.

Yes, that's true and having a player that can go outside and cross, whilst pulling the defender wide will create space and be better at crossing.
If the rest of the forwards are going to pick up the slack, as has been suggested by others, then there are a few ways to skin that cat.
