Group stage where incentive is to finish top to avoid CL dropouts and 2 extra games.

I'd actually like to win the Europa again. We'd be outright second behind Sevilla with 4 and extend our European heritage over the rest of the embarrassments in England.

I think we probably will too.

I remember watching the highlights and the linesman put his flag up for the ball going put before the Liverpool goal but the referee didn't stop the game.

You might be talking about the semi final in the EC against Inter the year previous when Liverpool were cheated out of the second leg having been 3-1 up from the first leg.
