We played Szoboszlai and Jones in the double pivot and Salah and Gakpo/Nunez as the two strikers to form a box midfield, and pushed Gomez further forward into the right wider area, this changed the game in the second half.

First half was absolute shiitt but we came back well. Very fortunate they didn’t put the game to bed first half as they should have done.

From now on we should play Szoboszlai and Mac Allister in the double pivot. We could put more pressure with Salah and Nunez centrally. This got Salah in much better positions to hurt them.

Salah was a different player once he had moved more inside and Nunez came on to the field.

I’d back them to beat Bayern over Brighton tbh. We ts all about attitude with them. It stinks but they’ll want to play well on the big stage.

The midfield box of Szoboszlai-Jones and Salah-Gakpo/Nunez was the reason we won the game.

Mac Allister was outnumbered when playing there. We need a double pivot of Mac Allister and Szoboszlai or Gravenberch. Push the right back further up the pitch to get Salah centrally. It's about getting the best out of our danger players.

We were outnumbered all over the pitch first half m8 not just midfield. We looked outnumbered in def midf and atk i questioned where our players were, dont think i saw Jones once that first half either.

It was shocking, and everything ive been worrying about on here for the last few days. When we got in at HT only 1 down somehow we had a chance.

I'll say it again too we really have to sort out how we start games, both halfs too happens when we're leading at HT and come out not up for the response but mainly recently its the first half, always coming from behind ffs. Happened for so long now theres a major flaw there needs addressing.

Great result though, got a 12.30 win first in the last 7. Beat a team away we lost to last season who tbf deserve credit too they proper put in some effort that first half. And beat Oneil away who is clearly a good manager, only 40 too, wish him the best hope hes backed.
