if tuchel cant smash the sheit out that utd team with the firepower he has hes a worse negative manager than i already think.

Elliott is a really good sub for us. He also brings Salah into life. Previously they would get into each others way but now it is a partnership.

Yeah Elliott has done well with his appearances. Deserve a start in the Europa on Thursday surely.

Hope so!!

Missed the game yesterday as was driving, I really didn’t think AMA was the play at all after travelling considering it’s also not his best position, should have played Endo.

But how was the second half, how did Diaz and Nunez play?

Doubt pivot in midfield did the trick and asking Gomez to play a conventional right back rather than invert.

Mac was seriously jet lagged.

Slightly different note but I think 100% Szoboszlai is our next captain after VVD. Never seen a new player in front of the media this much.

We don't have a top class 6, so we can't play anybody else there than Mac Allister, but he needs another player next to him. Jones should play in the build-up next to MacAllister. I think this suits their skillsets better as Szoboszlai is a matchwinner in the final third.and Jones is excellent at keeping the ball in tight spaces.

Hoping dowk players a lot in the ropey bajcetic too

Neto injury record is horrific

Neto wanst great lst year coming back from a horrible injury, he was promising before that. This year started really well, happy for him as ive always enjoyed watching Neto play. Cunhas fun to watch too, thankfully hasnt learnt how to score yet.

I think Gravenberch is more suited to 6 than AMA.

I really hope Klopp doesn't have designs on AMA being there long term either way. I kind of get it but I'd prefer someone with more physicality myself. AMA is a goal threat too, and I don't want to see that taken away.

In Szoboszlai and AMA we have two bona-fide scorers from midfield.

I guess we'll see a good amount of rotation anyway, may take a bit if time to figure out.

id stick with quansah or maybe give VVD 45 quansah 45.

midf is a headache, we've got too many who could use some minutes in there. Endo Elliott Grav Bajcetic maybe even Thiago if hes back idk.

Too many midfielders brings an ironic smile to my face.

My Europa team:

Kweev
Gomez, Quansah, Matip, Tsimikas
Elliott, Endo, Gravenberch
Salah, Nunez, Diaz

If Quansah isn't fit then I guess it's VVD and Matip. No Point risking Konate if he's just coming back from injury.

Hopefully get the game one early then bring off the front 3. Think we need to get those three playing together more often and building some chemistry as hopefully they'll be our first choice there for most of the season.

Not sure TAA will be fit enough. And predicting Diaz on the right is very brave.
