Reina went downhill after he lost interest in playing for the club and didn't get the move to Arsenal he wanted, resulting in his huffing and half-arsed attempts at saves.

I doubt a coach is able to visibly and considerably make a player worse, much less make him not give 100%.

We could blame the coach who wants to coach or we could blame the player who didn't want to play. I know which one I see most likely.

I wouldn't be surprised if we did. I can't remember the last time when we stopped upping our offer on a player.

It's a lot of money to pay for another attacking midfielder considering the amount we have at the club, although he's different apart from Coutinho, he scores goals.
