Born in Milton Keynes, England, Robinson came through Everton's academy, having been with the academy since the age of 11.[6] In June 2013, he signed a scholarship with the club, becoming a full-time player.[7]

Can't see us going for another CB unless we're releasing Matip. Maybe we just bring back Phillips as back-up in Jan.
A new LB makes no sense given we already have two. Robertson being back soon means Gomez can go back to rotating RB/LB and CB. I'd guess Tsimikas should hopefully be back in a few months too?

I can’t see us offering Matip a new contact. By next season he’ll be a 33 year old with a long history of injuries trying to come back from an ACL.
Took VVD 18 months to get his form back. Matip doesn’t have that sort of time left in his career. A new contract would be heart ruling head imo.
TLDR - l think we’ll be in the market for a new CB

The bitters beating City
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You never learn
Was right at the time
Still funny watching the cocky POS Pickford give the ball away for the third goal
Dodgy penalty given to City of course, nowhere near as much of a pen that wasn’t given in our game against Arsenal.
No idea why we even bother to be honest, this league is more scripted than a west end theatre production.

Unfortunately true. Premier league officiating is just beyond a joke now.
David Coote was on VAR for the City game. The same bozo who didn't give us a pen against Arsenal. This is not a level playing field.

They are getting away with murder.
Still remember trent and robbo calling coote out during lockdown and the mics picked up what was said. Him and tierney are straight up cheats imo.
Klopps right his gut tells him sumins not right then it probably isnt, they say trust ur gut feeling. Its far too muckh of a coincidence to be anything but corruption. Tierney costs us something everytime hes involved in our games. Every time.
Make it all that much sweeter if we can be the ones to stop the cheats winning it again. Which hopefully we can.
Also as much as i respect pep regardless of the money etc i regard them as the best team of the prem era under him but fml his footballs boring. Felt the same about the dominant spansih team too and barca to an extent. The majorty of their games and play is boring af to watch even if its impressive its ultimately a boring way to play football.
Barca was great to watch but his Bayern and City teams didn't excel in entertainment value. They genuinely put me to sleep when they're on late games.
Got to say, how well has Quansah done this season. Especially recently filling in with Matip now injured for the season and Konate being rotated. He looks brilliant tbh and only 20 years old.
No better Cb to learn from either and playing alongside him. He must feel like he’s dreaming.
Hes done very well and his improvement on the ball, prob just confidence has been lovely. Still learning but for his age hes been outstanding. Hopefully stays fit and just goes from strength to strength.
How noticeable has vvd confidence been too, hes back to being calm as u like he was doing cryuff turns last game ffs. last season he was hitting it out for a throw on most occassions.
It's pleasing when Quansah, Trent and Curtis are playing - basically a quarter of the team from the academy. More if you count Elliot too
Aside from City losing that’s a brilliant week for results. Need to beat Newcastle now.
