Few thoughts from last night:
Obviously great to see Jota back and nice that all of our forwards who aren't called Mohamed Salah register a goal or assist.
Quansah - he'll have tougher games than Burnley but he looks very assured, great stuff.
Shout out to Gomez who has played himself into form and seems to have cut out some of the dopiness of last season, probably just rusty after so long out injured.
VAR... First disallowed goal was incredibly soft but I'm OK with the way VAR was implemented. Ref made a decision on field, VAR reviewed and thought there was nothing wrong with the decision. Accept it, get on with the game like you used to before VAR was implemented. Elliott's disallowed goal was total BS though as has been said already.
Final word... Burnley's left winger. He reminds me of that mate we probably all have at 5 a side who can dribble past the entire team on his own but then has zero end product. He's only 19 though so plenty of time for him to learn - definitely one to watch for the future.

Public opinion is already slightly in favour (just over 50%) for gun control. The next generation will shift that that hugely in favour. It’ll happen. Unfortunately not for a while though, a lot more people will have to die before it happens.

This defies belief, what part of the constitution does this come under?

Two teenage brothers have been arrested after their sister was shot and died during a row over Christmas presents.
The 23-year-old was shot in the chest by her teenage brother while she had her 10-month-old son in a carrier, the Florida sheriff's office said.
The boy was then shot by his older brother who took out his own gun, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.
Adding that the shooting followed an argument over who was getting more presents.
Sheriff Bob Gualtieri told reporters the older teenager, aged 15, ran from the scene and tossed his gun away.
The younger brother, aged 14, was taken to hospital in a stable condition and will be taken into custody when he is released, police said.

The mad thing is this will do nothing to soften the belief that people should have guns and in fact entrench it for most idiotic Americans.

Simplest way to look at it is, if the US had the same gun control laws as the UK, how many people would get killed compared to now? I mean, someone got killed in this story because of an argument over Christmas presents FFS.

We all better hope they can change things. The next generation actually view climate change as a crisis. Rather than my parents generation who largely couldn’t give a feck. I’m still hopefully my kids and their families will have an half inhabitable environment!
If they care about transgender rights, there’s every chance they’re not going to sit around let guns threaten their society.
