This team keeps digging holes for themselves but keep finding ways out. There’s a real strength of character in this team, when they get knocked back then they come again. Great to see.

Great win in the end.

United losing all their centre backs to injury too 👀
Varane and Evans both gone off

Shades of Gerrard vs Olympiacos with that Macca goal. What a hit son!

This United side must be the luckiest side in the history of football. Honestly they’re absolutely horrendous but keep getting results. You just know they’re going to find a way on Sunday.

This team will kill me before the end of the season ffs

United team is garbage but we tend to play the occasion over the opposition which needs to change

Yeah if we could take the emotion out the game we should win easily, but it’s very rarely we do that at old toilet

Hope Endo is back for the weekend. Annoying that it's slightly too early for Jota.

We better make the right decisions in the final third Sunday. Too many times we shoot when there is a pass on. Hopefully Brighton can do us a favour to take the pressure off of that game.

I thought Elliott was very good coming on. He just put the ball in the box to create danger. We needed that instead of that shooting from Salah.

We've had a couple of bad cup results against Utd in recent years but in the league we've lost once to them in the last 6 seasons. And have humped them several times, including a couple at their place.

Emotional or not, we've done pretty well against Utd in recent years.

It'll be a really challenging game because they'll be hell-bent on ruining our season but we're the better team. Play well and the result should come.

Late winning goals for us , United humiliated and Winston crying his eyes out on the footy live thread, a lovely Thursday night.

Winston’s is just an act though, just for the attention.

United confidence will be very low on Sunday. We need to be professional and do the job.

Gossip column saying we’ve opened talks with Amorim.

What’s peoples thoughts on this. I don’t watch the Portuguese league, like at all, and I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t offer Alonso a package he couldn’t turn down, but on paper Amorim seems the next best option.

They’ve conceded 58 shots in the last two games which is ridiculous.

225 - Manchester United have faced more shots than any other side in Europe's big-five leagues in 2024 (225).

Bayern, Barca, United and who knows who else will probably be looking for new managers this summer.

We need to explain this to Klopp and ask him for just one more year. No one will be needing a new manager next summer and we can just take Alonso.

It’s fantastic Neo.

EtH’s interviews are just the cherry on the cake. That man will say absolutely anything and I love it.

Alonso has one year of management under his belt. It’s a brilliant one but I’m not sure I’d be breaking the bank to sign any manager so inexperienced.

If he wanted to join, excellent, but I wouldn’t be making a stupid financial offer to hire a manager with no experience. This job is a significantly bigger one than Leverkusen.

Amorim has Klopp and Benitez vibes about him, taking a more unfancied team in Sporting and winning the league against more favoured clubs in Porto and Benfica.
