Last night felt like the first time in fvcking ages where we actually had a fair referee who wasn't playing for the opposition and making the game all about him, it was refreshing.

twatwell has improved a lot in our games i felt, used to be really bad but tbf to him last handful ive seen him ref for us hes been fair. still think he got conned easily at times and gets a few wrong inc last night but overall a lot better than most refs we get.

wasnt for nothing was it, if a player flops to the floor like that screaming so loud the mics pick it up... Refereeing isnt easy with every playe tryna con u lol.

Utd players ran out of steam a bit last night, hopefully thats a factor, cup game they had full week off where as we played midweek.

Is Mac currently our best player? He’s been so good second half of this season. Along with Rice he’s surely one of the best midfielders in the league now.

still cant believe theyre making us play wham 12.30 after playing midweek wed night... they dont even allow that after CL games anymore but now its ok again?

7 games in 20 days is brutal, 3 away in the league in a row too. we're gonna need ppl back and the squad stepping up for sure.

A couple of bad decisions like that in a game is inevitable. It's different to the ridiculous bias against us we've had in previous games.

I have feeling that this Sunday will be like the 5-0 we gave them under Ole. Ten Haag is on his last legs.

VVD and then Mac. Both have been superb.

Mac did yesterday what Keita tried to do in Paris against Madrid, which just shows the upgrade we now have in midfield

Watched that goal back so many times already. As soon as it fell to him you just knew what was going to happen. The reverse angle replay where you can see Virg celebrating before it hit the net is glorious.

Moments like that are what we watch footy for boys

It was Gerrardesque too.

False sense of security until this weekend

Some fixture news. Spurs' Chelsea game has been rearranged so they play the NLD on Sunday, Chelsea away on Thursday then they come to Anfield the Sunday after. Hopefully they'll be goosed after that run and will roll over for us.

We had the African connection with Mane and Salah. Now we've got some serious South American vibe going with Nunez, Diaz and Mac. And it's still early days with them. I like their grit and determination to win. We are performing way above expectations for the season.

Got a tough run coming but players returning just in time which enhances our chances. With Klopp doing his thing and rotating to maintain freshness we could be able to just breeze through it.
