Is there any manger you'd rather come in instead? There's no proven managers waiting to take a new job at the moment so whoever comes in will be young manager and big a gamble.
Quite a few teams will be looking for managers in the summer between Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern, probably United as well.
I think I prefer the idea of bringing in someone who has had success in the form of trophies over one with a bit of Premier League experience like De Zerbi or Frank.
Think he's the best manager we can get to be honest with no Xabi.
All the analytics seem to suggest he's the most similar to Klopp, his players seem to love him, decent English, and he has shown he can win against sides who spend more than he does.
Europe is the only question mark but he does also have some good performances in there.
Portugal clubs don't do well in Europe so that should be no shade on Amorim. He will get the opportunity to improve on that with us.
Look at Ten Haag who had a decent European record but has been horrific at United.
Few stats
So we have the highest recorded xG against Newcastle, highest recorded possession against Sheffield
Now we've also apparently won the most games of 2024 in Europe (16) and scored the most goals too (59) in the same period
i thought arsenal had the greatest attack in the land
City Football Group Ltd, which owns Manchester City, New York City etc, had record revenue of £877m in 22/23 & lost £127m before tax. Manchester City contributed £713m of the revenue & made £80m profit before tax. CFG have now made total losses of over £1.4bn
-----
Sure is a funny coincidence how every CFG club is losing vast amounts of money bar City who always run a profit.
I’ve written it before but Troyes (City group) record signing has never kicked a ball for them and has been loaned to Girona (City Group).
It’s such an obvious loophole.
More news about Prem clubs are pushing for the luxury tax. It’s such bollox.

We had the African connection with Mane and Salah. Now we've got some serious South American vibe going with Nunez, Diaz and Mac. And it's still early days with them. I like their grit and determination to win. We are performing way above expectations for the season.
Got a tough run coming but players returning just in time which enhances our chances. With Klopp doing his thing and rotating to maintain freshness we could be able to just breeze through it.

I would take Amorim over De Zerbi or Frank for sure, but I am not averse to the idea of giving Ljinders the job and see how he does next season.

I’m trying to remind myself this as a way of not getting too excited - we’re performing way about expectations. If you go back and look at the end of summer, this thread was almost mutinous over the owners (I’ll phrase it politely) dereliction of duty! And that was nothing compared to how toxic Twitter was.
Personally I said I would like top 4 and shot at the EL. I never thought for a second that we’d be top with 8 games to go.
I see Edwards got whooped in draft. Gap down to 5 points
