Wonder where rodrygo will go

Mbappe, Bellingham, Vinicius, Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni…
That is just a ridiculous selection of talent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All 25 and under as well. That could be the core of their team for another 6-7 years.
The only thing is with Don Carlo leaving, you need a manager who can deal with the egos. Might be a bit hazy, but I don't remember the Galacitcos of the early 00s conquering everything, so maybe there's hope for the rest of us. But Barca continue to be Ann Shambles at the moment so can see Real dominating La Liga for years to come.
You just know Alonso will go there when Carlo leaves them. Just to rub it in even more.
They'll probably just bring Zidane back...who just continued Carlo's tactics and was a big enough personality to keep everyone in check.
Plus Perez is not someone you want to mess with
There is a Mbappe CL curse
City will respond though. That 115 will become 315.
City got an interesting summer if they lose Silva, De Bruyne, Ederson etc. would be a lot of experience to replace. But then they lost Gundogan and Mahrez last summer and still won the league so.
Are we gonna do any business is what I wanna know. Manager starting a job even without a LFC TV interview just doesn't seem right. Do we have to wait till when pre season training begins to hear from him?
With Edwards and all his back room staff in charge of recruitment, I’m confident we will get some good signings through the door. Obviously Slot will have his say, but most of his input will be on the training pitch, which is what he will want.
Is strange there has been no interview yet though with him, when does he officially start?

Slot seems to be happy coaching and working with whats there doesn't he? Especially the youth? So theres plenty to look at before going out and buying?

They're being careful with everything. I expect his interview will have information he wouldn't be able to provide at the moment. Let him get comfortable and learn what's going on re transfers and club business instead of he usual "I am here to win" cliches we get in first interviews.
Is the beginning of the season not 1 July?
They will save the interview for 1st July I reckon. They won’t want the announcement of Adrian’s new contract being overshadowed.
His contract is from June 1st but I doubt he's actually at the office yet.
Probably on holiday whilst having some phone calls with players and things like that.
Personally, I'm not expecting signings until the back end of the transfer window. I'm assuming that Slot is going to want to meet his players, see them in action and understand their character before deciding what he needs. The Euros & Copa America isn't helping in that regard.
I'd almost be a little concerned if we were to start signing players before the manager has met and worked with the squad.

Drafts was suggested as a solution to this

Just a pointless suggestion. How is a draft supposed to work in football?

I don’t think Slot’s appointment will matter too much in terms of signing players, he’s a coach, not a manager.

Sure but as he's the one that sets the team up to play in a certain way, he's obviously going to have a voice at the table.
I get that he's not going to be saying 'I want X player' but not setting out the teams requirements would be full on madness. Needs to be joined up.
Chelsea and Liverpool are still keeping close eye to Crysencio Summerville situation at Leeds United.
Both clubs have been monitoring him this season and showing interest in the recent weeks.
Nothing advanced yet but talks for Dutch winger are expected to begin soon.

Please take him Chelsea...
U sure hes a coach? Klopp was quick to correct his use of the word coach changing it to manager in his Anfield speech/?
its romano so its waffle anyway
West Ham are closing in on the 30m euro (£25.5m) signing of 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras.
Wtf were we doing wrong? Haven't we had numerous South Americans on loan cause we couldnt get a work permit? Doesnt seem an issue for anyone else.
It’s because they’ve changed the law isn’t it?
