Just returned after a week in Whitecliff bay Isle of Wight.

Lovely holiday, exceeded expectations, and going again next year.

Highly recommended, as close as you can get to European resort with the pool/bar/restaurant set up and a beautiful beach onsite.

Obviously the weather helps

Reasonable cost too.

Yeah I did enjoy Oxford to be fair. Did a pedal boat ride down the river which was nice and relaxing. A lot of posh people though as you'd expect

just watched full match, wasnt a good performance by us, extremely sloppy, put together some nice moves on the break but very sporadic. Quality on the ball seriously lacking if hes serious about more possession, playing like that turned over so easily giving it away so easily wont work. Apparently we had 53 % possession, felt like about 20 to me barely kept it 10 seconds at a time. both keepers made big saves each half, Utd barely had to do anything fo rmost their chances tbh just half a press wait for us to fack it up. Konate did about 3 times first 10 mins prob shud have been 2 down in 10 he looked very rusty and uncomfortable at lcb which is understandable didnt play a lot for france?

tsimikas and carvalho were probably our best players with the keepers. mf was very poor.

Jones got the highest rating on Flashscore?? I’ve only read through the United thread, but didn’t seem as bad as you’re making out. United were well up for it, they’ve played well against us for a while now. Wouldn’t worry about MF, Grav and Elliott won’t start a single game together.

A 3-0 win with that side will do nicely, P3 W3 on the tour with loads of players missing. How do you think United are feeling at the start of the season, really looks like same old for them?

i wouldnt say utd played well, it was scrappy for the most part they kept the ball more than us it felt or longer, but the possession stats had us shadidng it. Can only go by what you feel watching it, to me felt like we struggled to keep it for more than 10 seconds at a time cause we'd just give it str8 back. mf struggled to get a hold on the game for sure, was mentioned at ht by the so called espn pundits.

Utd did alright 3-0 prob was a bit harsh they should have scored a few, we defended much better vs arsenal. They have a lot of the same issues from the same culprits it seems. Casemeiro got done, AWB was poor on the ball, sancho was a ghost. Rashford looked quite sharp at times but he got boo'd everytime he touched the ball rofl. Tsimikas did well vs diallo? outside of getting sent back to liverpool by odegaard tsimikas has done well on tour imo, shows what a run of games can do.

Bradley gets forward so well but he was another one making poor decisions. Our 3rd was prob just offside but a nice move, 2nd was a gr8 move and 1st a lovely turn but a deflected shot into the corner by carvalho. Who got back at times really well, looks like he suits the counter press all of a sudden.

thats an absolute piiss take of an offer lol what those mugs give for city players enall... paid more than that for a keeper that didnt play once for city didnt they?

theyve just paid 23m for a fkin cb from city that never played for them either.

he had 2 loans there but still lol never featured for city?

some lad from west ham ive never heard of for 18m who was on loan too? flyn downes?

a loan could be a good move if hes not gonna play much for us, cause he needs to be playing really.

but tbh hes looked good pre season on the left for us, a side that doesnt seem to be worked as much as our right since elliott loves moving over to link with salah and bradley we overload there more. I've been impressed with his counter pressing, quick to win it back esp this morning vs utd. took his 2 goals well too.

prob wore off some rust for sure for the likes of konate and grav for sure, felt the first 2 games were better pre season workouts, and to learn from. this morns not much other than work on taking care of the ball better.

I hope we keep him for this season, see if we can work out a proper role for him. There’s definitely a player there….

in this market 15m for carvalho is peanuts, insulting offer and hopefully told them as much.

Like the look of the striker Blair, Danns was unlucky with injury and couldn't go?

15m is a joke offer when Archie Gray cost up to 35m. Carvalho is a better player. Anyway I prefer to keep him and hopefully he can make an impact. He scores goals but not sure how involved he is in games.
