You think he’ll be loaned out in January? Really can’t see it considering the position we’re in. We had loads of outgoings in the summer, really can’t see us letting any first team squad players go.

Yeah, I guess that’s the one caveat. If he hates it here and is homesick or whatever then I suppose there’s no point keeping him.

Would be pretty humiliating for him. We ‘rescued’ him from his obvious nightmare, and he didn’t have the fortitude to at least try and make it here.

Not great is it.

Most of his issue has been injuries. Obviously, that is its own issue but theoretically if he can keep injury free for a stretch and get some fitness (I know Slot has spoken about essentially recreating an in season pre-season for him) then he could easily contribute. Even in his very limited minutes he has shown one or two nice moments where you can see the player he is. Surely we didn't get him in thinking he'd have contributed much by this point? Probably hoped for more luck on the injuries but it was a punt that I don't think we've given enough to yet.

Salah has always referenced this as his last year, I’ve heard him say it a few times. I could be wrong, but I think this is just Sky using artistic licence from old news just because it’s Liverpool v United this weekend.

Personally I think Salah and his management team have just decided to put pressure on the club through fans and the media; they’re taking every available opportunity to suggest (or in this case state) it’s the last season.

If Salah had decided the time was right to move on, then he’d say so imo.

Tbh, I think this interview is no different to the one after the last game. Or the game before that. Or the one before that.

If all 3 leave then the drop off next season will be utd levels. It just cant happen.

Id agree though this interview is nothing new. Sky will do anything to destable us prior to a game against their darlings.

I still expect him and vvd to sign.
