Think he will want to move to a team with a recent track record of title success and a realistic chance of winning again in the next season or 2.
That leaves 3 options for him in the PL
He'll want CL football and a side in the title hunt and a side that attacks
which only leaves City and Liverpool

Last season we were in for an attacking midfielder, one went to Dortmund and one to Chelsea. I'm guessing BR is still looking for one and there's none who are available better than Fabregas. He also fits into our style.
I can see City losing both Yaya and Aguero this summer to PSG and Barca respectively so would be in a position wages wise to bring Fabregas in without upsetting the CL wage restriction and he's home grown. We wouldn't want him as a DM,more of a centre AM,an area we really aren't swamped with.
Arsenal and Man United are his most likely destination s
Think he will go to Arsenal, but do they really need him?
Utd?
Not a chance now they can't offer CL football or more wages than anyone else to compensate either if he's that way inclined
I think United would be willing to offer high wages. They have to with them not being in the Champions League. It's their only real bargaining tool at the moment.
I'd bet City is where he'll end up
United would have to pay him at least Rooney's wages to attract him without CL football
I think if city want him they will get him, i just hope the dont need him. Lfc wont compete with citys wages.
CL does not come into it. The modern footballer will go to whoever pays the most money. Fabregas would go to Wycombe Wanders if they offered him £300 grand a week. The modern footballers are mercenaries end of.

All a club needs to offer is silly wages, you of all people should know that

If the cl is a deal breaker well then obviously utd are out of the running. Wages wont be an issue with utd however. City would be favourites for me if he dosent have any emotional desire to return to the gunners
city can't afford to keep wasting money on wages though....
United will be back in the CL places next year and can add a release clause so he could leave if they don't. Fabregas will go to a top team that offers good wages and lot's playing time. No team is guaranteed CL football anyway.
Gooby....thats no good if fesc wants to play CL NEXT YEAR though is it?

If cl is an issue next season well then he will want to go to a team wth a better chance of winning it so that rules out the likes of moscow, liverpool etc
Why are United fans convinced they'll make the CL next season when there are at least 4 stronger sides in the division, all of whom will significantly strengthen?
its hard to make any sort of call on top 4 until at a few transfer have been made, if we are to believe the media United are looking to invest hundreds of millions this summer, this would give them a chance at top 4. As things stand right now United would even fail to get a Europa Cup spot next season.
