I'm so confident though. Only ones that will be red-faced are Chelsea fans with their articles

It's the fear of him going somewhere else that drives all this paranoia.

And I've been repeating myself on here but this idea of a "footballing father" has worn thin, Cesc is like 26 ffs and he seems to be the only player in the world I can think of that gets reffered to as having this mythical "footballing father".

Is Cesc so insecure in himself that he needs constant reassurance for a father figure???

Seriously think about it and name a player and manager who gets this similar label, especially a 26 year old WC, EC, CL etc winner.

Cesc's own words kneerash. 'ave it.

When you don't feel the love elsewhere sometimes you need your father back to restore your confidence. Cesc loves Wenger so much you'll never understand as you had Suarez calling Brenda a liar last summer

It's in fabregas' hands.

I'm fully aware of the quotes but really does a 26 year old man need reassurance from a father figure? I know you're trying to be smart, and as usual I just put you in your place but what do I have to understand about Brendan and Suarez? I'd prefer Suarez to be his own man and not need to be told he's a good boy every fecking day by a father figure.

Cesc is a great player no doubt about it, he is close with Wenger and does owe him allot, I get all this but do you not find it a bit sad and embarassing that Cesc seems to be the only player in world football at 26 who still seems to have a father figure in the game, do you not think it makes him still sound liek he's a young kid tryign to make his way in the game and not an established international footballer.

He isn't a CL winner. And you're forgetting Cesc older brother. Wengers other aon. Thierry Henry

If we fail to make a bid and let him go to Chelsea, I don't think I would ever forgive Wenger for that. If we make a bid and he still goes to Chelsea, nothing will have changed. He will still be the çunt that left us for dead on a bargain. BUT we at least have to make a bid.

Did Cesc not win a CL with Barca? If not fair enough.

It's actually embarassing for Cesc as such a talented player to be constantly reffered to as someones "son".

Goodness me you're the most boring obsessed poster ever. Looked at the length of your paragraph and didn't bother you repeat yourself all the time and claim to put me in my place...

Go away haven't you got a £30m Lallana bid to talk about or something you seem addicted to this Cesc saga

Kneerash is comfortably the worst poster on this boards. He thinks he is "winding up" people but he is just embarrassing himself every time he posts on this site.

I'm not even trying to wind anyone up, do you not think this whole "footballing father" thing is a tad embarassing?

It's easy to ignore something and say I'm trying to wind people up, I asked a question and not one of you has even attempted to answer it, name another 26 year old international footballer who gets tagged with having a "father figure" in football.

Like I understand how it came about, Wenger did allot for Cesc but sorry at 26 it's just embarassing. Wum you just don't liek me cause we'd a run in a few days ago, but why not try to be a bit intelligent and tell me whats wrong with what I've said.

Did you need to write this article again? All serves to do is show you as desperate. Fabregas plays in a position Chelsea (among other teams) have identified as an area they can improve on this summer and is one of a number of options.

I never liked Fabregas as a person but appreciate his ability and would be happy if he singed as he’d improve our team but he wouldn’t be my first choice.

Does Ronaldo get reffered to as Fergie's son? I don't hear it if he does but se eit all the time with Cesc.

Look you clearly cannto take any criticism of the golden child, I've said Cesc is a great player etc. I just think it sounds daft for all of you to keep referrign to Wenger as a father figure to a 26 year old man who's an established internation footballer.

your last article lasted long

Ok look I get yous don't like me criticisign Cesc so I'll leave it be, anyway I wasn;t actually criticising Cesc just the fascination with a "father" figure, I just find it ridiculous.

I don't follow Cesc's career closley, I thought he may have been part of the last Barca team to win the CL, yous know better cause you all follow him closley so fair enough he didn't win the cl, really has no impact on me as LFC is my team.

Anyway look Knoweldgeable you're freaking out here going way OTT on a football forum, I'll leave you be lad no need to get banned over me

"I don't follow Cesc's career closley"

Yet you seem so knowledgeable about his attitude and about all his antics. Please stop doing this to yourself now man. Leave this when you still have some dignity.

You really are a little obsessed on this one kneerash. It's a very common expression, one Cesc used himself and doesn't really mean anything at all in the grand scheme of things.

Plus the way you explain why it bothers you, it strikes me you might not have a very mature relationship with your own father. It's all a bit weird, if I'm honest.
