MANCHESTER UNITED v Swansea City
Injuries: Manquillo, Evans, Cresswell
---------------Buffon
Alves - Howedes - Dante - Gaya
---------Khedira - Perez
--Schurrle - Fabregas - Hazard
--------------Rooney
Subs: Mandanda, Subotic, Moreno, Gonalons, Pirlo, Barkley, Van Persie
Very tough game today as Swansea have some quality players in their side, however we have the players to hurt them and cause them real problems. Our front four with assistance from the fullbacks should create plenty of chances, and in Perez and Khedira we have two very good box to box players who can hold the fort while also being creative and joining in the attack on occasion.
Buffon - Distribute from the back to the fullbacks/CM's, stay in communication with your defence throughout, be wary of long range efforts and ensure you stay big for any one on ones. On occasion go long for Rooney.
Howedes/Dante - Howedes to mark their striker, force him high up the pitch thus limiting his impact close to goal, and Dante to be the spare man, be first to the second ball and their second striker/AM making runs from midfield. When in possession bring the ball out of defence and use the midfielders ahead of you to help us play out from the back. Both of you go forward for setpieces.
Alves/Gaya - Both of you to force the Swansea wingers out wide, do not allow them to come inside as this will cause more problems for our midfield. They will want to cut inside so force them outside and block their crosses at source. They will try to create problems infield so its vital you only show them down the wing. If they play a diamond with no wingers you will need to form a narrow back four with the CB's and leave no spaces in behind. When we have possession, push forward and support Schurrle/Hazard as they will try to run inside the fullback and you will provide the overlap to either create space or supply crosses into the area for Rooney and link with Fabregas. You will need to track back very quickly to ensure we don't get caught on the break.
Khedira/Perez - Khedira the defensive midfielder, assist the CB's in dealing with the Swansea attack, if they play an AM stay on him, but don't follow if he drifts wide. If they have a second striker who drops off ensure you're on top of him too. Be first to any loose balls and in possession look for the attackers and pass rather than bring the ball out. Perez is the box to box CM, also able to assist at DM but with more creativity, link the play between defence and attack. Remain composed throughout.
Fabregas - Playing the AM role, with the ball I want you to drift left and right, drag their DM out of position as they will be assigned to track your runs, swap with Schurrle and Hazard on occasion to create confusion and leave space for your teammates to run into. Link with Hazard, Schurrle, Rooney and Perez, look for Rooney on the last defender for a through ball and also shoot if you get the opportunity. Get yourself between their DM and the ball, make them go through you and foul you to stop you, thus creating setpiece chances for us.
Schurrle/Hazard - Both playing out wide and both have the pace and trickery to beat the Swansea fullbacks and get crosses in, but both of you will also have our fullback overlapping giving you the chance to cut inside and get shots in. Look to supply Rooney with chances and also provide yourselves with chances. Link up with Fabregas, and capitalise on the space Rooney's presence will create for you. Without the ball I expect you two to track back and assist your fullback.
Rooney - you will be expected to occupy the Swansea centrebacks, hold up possession and look to turn the defender and shoot. Be strong in the air and look for your teammates trying to pick you out from deep. Shoot on sight. Stay on the last defender's shoulder for any passes in behind.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Perez and Fabregas off, Pirlo and Gonalons on. Switch to 4-5-1 with a trio of Khedira, Pirlo and Gonalons. Absorb pressure and look to retain the ball and hit on the break.
If drawing: Perez off, Van Persie on. Switch to 4-1-3-2 with Khedira holding, Van Persie and Rooney upfront. Push for the win without overcommitting.
If losing: Alves, Gaya and Perez off, Pirlo, Barkley and Van Persie on. Change to a 2-2-4-2 formation where we throw everything against a Swansea side hanging on, Barkley and Fabregas at AM, Khedira and Pirlo in CM, Van Persie and Rooney upfront. Howedes and Dante hold the fort. Push for goals.

DEFENCE
Ospina will be commanding and will deal with high balls into the box. Defenders will play a deep line so the opposition cant utilise their pace in attack. Full backs will be on a conservative mind set to begin with but as the match goes on they will attack more. They will not forget their defensive responsibilities as they will not let the opposition wingers beat them and take on.
MIDFIELD
I'm playing 3 CM's today. De Jong will play a defensive mid role. He will be tasked with protecting the back four and making interxeptions when the opposition attack. He will also be covering for my full backs whenever they are attacking. Poli and Montolivo will be my playmakers. They will look to move the ball forward. Montolivo has great passing ability and his job will be to thread dangerous through balls to my wingers and striker, Poli will also look to attack as he will be the engine in midfield, closing everyone down and hassling the opposition. When there is a chance from long range I want them to have a pop at goal. They both have the ability to score screamers from far out.
WIN GERS
Kuba and Menez will look to beat the opposition full backs with their pace and trickery. I want them to dribble to the by line and get a cross in for Huntelaar to score. Menez will look to cut in from the left and try and try and get a shot in from long range. When we don't have the ball I want them helping the full backs in defending.
STRIKER
Klaas Jan "THE HUNTER" Huntelaar will be my focal point of attack today. I want him to use his superior aerial ability to create chances with his head. He is also a great poacher in the 6 yard box so the wingers will look to play crosses into that area.
SUBS IF LOSING BY 70 MINS
Take of Poli and stick on Downing in an attacking central role. Take of De Jong for Tiago to add fresh legs. Take of Srna and play 3 at the back. Put on Zarate in strike.

Take off Huntelaar for Zarate to add fresh legs. Go on a defensive counter attacking mind set.

Subs: Baumann, Papadopoulos, Contento, Rami, Cerci, Tadic, Rondon
General: Counter-attack with pace and precision. We have employed a system where we have a defensive formation and we are to press anyone and everyone who enters deep in our half and we will be doing that in packs. We respect the talent of the opposition but we know if they have no space and no time, they will be frustrated and make mistakes that we must take advantage of. The extra training of finishing of your forwards will help and we need to attack with speed and with Wellbeck and Valencia's pace, we have two quality outlets. All our defence will be helped with the wingers and central midfield that will be at their fittest and expected to chase most of the day. We will fight for every ball and we aim not to concede. Simple tactics but it is effective against technical teams a la Simeone vs Madrid.
Defence
Alves has to be vocal throughout and making sure that the defence marks every player that enters our half so communicating is key. He also has to be be brave on set pieces and take out the ball by catching it but if he takes out a player by 'accident', so be it.
The centre backs chosen are strong and brilliant in the air and good readers of the game. I wanted mobile defenders and Bruma is young, athletic and can make timely interceptions. Albiol will be captaining this side and making sure that that the team remain focussed and lead from example with tackling hard but fair and urging the midfield to press when they can and his defence can back them up.
Yedlin and Maxwell are different types of defenders but both effective. Maxwell more of the interceptor and strong on the ball whilst Yedlin relies on his pace and can stay with man. However, Yedlin has also been told to be more physical and use his strength to hold off the attackers. All of these defenders will have cover from the central midfield or the fullbacks have Valencia and Wellbeck to help them whenever possible.
Midfield
Three holding midfielders chosen are hard tacklers, great in the air and have great engines. Their first task is to protect the goal and press the midfield as quick as possible and try to win the ball back in midfield and let Wellbeck and Valencia set free with their pace. When the three central midfielders have possession, they have to keep the ball wisely and release to the wingers as they should have gallons of space. Fellaini great in the air and should be targeted on free kicks, corners and goal kicks.
Valencia and Wellbeck chosen instead of Cerci and Tadic because of their pace and work rate. Both to stay in midfield and help full backs by doubling up but once we receive possession, they will both be looking to run wide and in space as we know they cannot be caught. They have to make sure to keep onside and be direct to run towards goal and if Negredo is free, feed him.
Forwards
Negredo may be our only striker but has to start as a attacking midfielder to help press the midfield and keep pressing because they will not like it as they need time and space.
Negredo will be helped by the wingers when we attack and have amples of space.

-----------------------------------------------------------
We must win this game. We feel Everton are there for the taking therefore we will be positive in our play.
We line up in a familiar 4-2-3-1.
In today's game, we look to add more width and pace to our team. When needed we will sit in an absorb pressure pouncing on any opportunity to counter attack with or deadly trio up front.(madrid style) We also look to use the full length of the pitch therefore Reus and Ronaldo will play as wingers and will also be provided support from the full backs. When defending we will be disciplined, at times having everybody behind the ball and then wait for the opportunity to use our pace and power on a counter attack. We will not be afraid to play it out from the back, everybody is comfortable on the ball.
Generally we want to take the game to the opposition and look for that early goal, putting the opposition under pressure.
Hart will be quick off his line for one on ones and crosses into the box. I want him to be vocal in his box maintaining communication with his centre halves. Comfortable with the ball at his feet he will play it both short to my centre backs and long to my attackers who look to break at speed.
Lahm and Kolarov two natural full backs. I want them upon and down the pitch providing options for our attack. Also I want them to defend responsibly and not risk being caught out. They mark man for man and force the opposition inwards into a packed midfield.
Kompany and Laporte, A good mix of power, pace, aerial ability and composure on the ball, allows us to be commanding at the back and limit the amount of opportunities for the opposition. Both will control the back four and make sure everybody is doing their job correctly by using their excellent leadership skills. Kompany and Laporte will stay close to each other not allowing the opposition to open up space. Laporte looks to defend the first ball coming towards our defence, using his reading of the game to get there before the striker and clear, he'll use his great tackling to shut him down around the area and then look to get the ball back Kompany stays in position when Laporte does this covering the remaining space, he will be able to clear the second ball if it gets beyond Laporte.
Busquets and Herrera will be our two deepest central midfielders. As usual Busquets holds while Herrera plays box to box. Herrera uses his amazing energy to track down opposition in pressing while also making late runs intothe box. Busquets helps us tick over.
Silva - Sits in a free role between midfield and striker. Using his dribbling and vision will pick up possession and drive forward to play incisive passes. Will consistently pass and move to be in strong positions to effectively receive and distribute the ball, once he has done so he will use his strong dribbling abilities to hold possession and enable team mates to forge attacking runs beyond him then getting his head up to read these runs push forwards and play the decisive pass into attacking positions.
Ronaldo + Reus: Both quick, direct, tricky and strong, they'll pull the opposition defence all over the place. They are both creative playmakers as well as wingers and will look to play balls in to Aguero's feet for the one-two, but they're also quick and have great energy so can get round the back of the WBA defence and drill in low balls and cutbacks, or they can drive at the defence and cause them problems. They'll be allowed to switch at will.
Up front is Aguero, he should always look to make runs in behind and hold his own when possible holding the ball up and getting others involved whilst occasionally coming deeper to dictate the player whilst they go on beyond.

Tactical Overview
For the first 20 minutes we are going to try and blitz the opposition, try to get an early goal or 2, then sit back into a counter attacking style with inverted wingers to allow full backs to provide width when attacking. and working in groups of 2 or 3 to press high up the pitch get the ball back by stayng on their feet and nick the ball rather than sliding in to launch quick transitions from defence to attack.

Keeper

When distributing the ball, he should look to keep it simple and play the simple pass. At crosses and set pieces, should look to punch rather than flap at pressurised catches.

Full Backs

Defensively the objective is to sit back and tuck in slightly, looking to stop balls being played between them and the centre backs, but then to push the opposition winger out as wide as possible to limit their opportunity to get a good cross in.

Their objective when attacking will be to push on and make overlapping runs down their respective sides, keeping the pitch as wide as possible to try and stretch the opposition defensive line and be available to put crosses in.

Centre Backs

Godin will compete with the striker for the aerial balls played to him, with Mustafi concentrating on winning the 2nd ball. When the ball is on the floor, Mustafi will be the defender who looks to meet the striker looking to stifle his space and rush his decisions, with Godin making the covering run. When on the ball, if the opposition are giving them space to come out with the ball, then they should look to take it forward, if not, keep it simple and play it to a man in space and retain possession.

Centre Mids

Parejo will be sitting at the base of the midfield looking to get himself into pockets of space so he can get the ball off the CBs and keep the ball moving, Defensively he will be providing assistance to the full backs.
Strootman and Pjanic will be utilising their high energy styles to get themselves around the pitch, being key figures in the pressing game and using their energy to get forward to make late runs and be extra attacking presences. They will also look to take the occasional long shot to mix it up and test the keeper. When defending, both players are looking to press in the middle third of the pitch, pressing the CMs/AMs as they are looking to control the ball to give them little time to control it and move it on.

Wingers

When they are off the ball, the emphasis for both wingers will be to drift around combining with the other attackers to get little areas of space to take advantage of the quick transitions from defence to attack. then when they are on the ball the emphasis will be more on cutting inside with the occasional long shot to test the keeper, and only occasionally putting in crosses, getting involved in a fast intricate style of passing with the CM's and Suarez, they should also look to run at players as they will be cautious to not make a rash tackle and give away a free kick or penalty. When the opposite winger has the ball, the winger without the ball should look to find space between the CB and FB to add an extra body for any crosses or capitalise on any defensive errors.
When defending, they should be blocking the passing lines to the full backs as well as keeping track of them when they go forward.

Striker

When attacking, he will look to play a high energy game by being a willing runner down the channels and constantly drift around the defenders looking to get himself a bit of space enough for him to face the defenders and take them on. He will also be looking to use his unpredictable style when on the ball to cause a bit of confusion in the minds of the defenders and crate a chance for himself or others. He also has a knack of being the first to react to get onto rebounds or parries and taking those one touch chances. When defending, he will be the first line of defence, looking to pressurise the centre backs into making quick decisions.
Set Pieces

Corners - Parejo takes the corners, the CB's go into the box, the FB's stay back to prevent counters, the CB's, Suarez and Callejon work in a group to make little blocks and cross-runs to lose a marker so 1 or 2 can get a free run at the ball, Strootman looks to annoy the opposition keeper looking to limit his ability to move around the 6 yard box. Pjanic and Nasri take positions just outside the box to pick up any weak defensive clearances and occasionally providing the short pass option to try and draw 2 defenders out of the box.

Free Kicks - Suarez takes Direct FK's, with Pjanic occasionally taking them as a 2nd option.

For Indirect FK's, follow the same directives for Corners

Penalties - Suarez is the designated taker.

Game plan:
It’s a new start for a previously underachieving Portsmouth side and, as such, we are looking to start in perfect fashion. With that in mind, we will be aiming to take the game directly to Southampton with a very strong attacking formation.
The Portsmouth team is set up to be solid in defence and lethal on the break. Utilising 3 of the 4 Real Madrid defenders who won the Champions League with very few goals conceded gives us a good chance in this respect. When Southampton are on the ball, we will be looking to consolidate our formation by having the defence drop deep and the central midfield duo pushing the play out wide. Our main goal is to stop Southampton running at our defence directly, we are happy to let them have possession in their own half but as soon as they enter ours, we will execute a high tempo pressing game to force them in to mistakes that our pacey forward line will be able to profit from.
There will be no distinct formation to our attack, with the front 3 attacking midfielders all given the freedom to roam in to space, as long as they track back to help in defence afterwards, and our full backs pushing forwards as well. Our main goal will be to use our pace and quality up front to overrun the Southampton defence and, by maintaining a fluid system, we will be looking to drag our opposition around the pitch, exposing holes through which to exploit.
Individual tactics:
Lloris: Great shot stopper and confident at claiming crosses. We want him to mimic Neuer in a sweeper role, also.
Carvajal and Marcelo: Marcelo is superb going forwards and will be given every freedom to move forward. Carvajal, too, is good going forwards and he will also be allowed to push high up the pitch but will need to be wary of our defence being overrun. His priority will be to maintain a solid defensive structure.
Pepe and Hummels: Not much needs to be said for these two class players. Strong in the air, good one-on-one defenders. They will be looking to move the ball out wide quickly and efficiently.
De Rossi and Modric: Modric will be looking to emulate his role for Real Madrid. De Rossi is a good passer and will be looking to spread play about the pitch but his first duty in attack is to drop just in front of the centre backs so that they can push wide.
Cuadrado, Gotze and Sterling: Going forward, there is no set game plan. All are very good attackers and will be given the freedom to show what they can do today. Cuadrado and Sterling will have to track their full backs in defence, Gotze will press the centre backs.
Lewandowski: Lewandowski will be looking to get himself in to the game in any way possible, but it by dropping deep to help play move up the pitch or by standing on the last man and looking to break through. He will press the centre backs when we are out of possession with Gotze so that the have no space to move the ball around the back.
Substitutions:
70 minutes: Sterling for Shaqiri – A fairly like-for-like swap. Shaqiri will be looking to go more direct down the wing so that Lewandowski can get his head to any crosses that come in.
75 minutes: Lampard for Cuadrado – Gotze moves out wide and Lampard, the ultimate super sub at the moment, will come on looking to get himself a goal or two, effectively playing as a second striker.
80 minutes: De Sciglio for Carvajal – De Sciglio will add fresh legs and more pace to our defence. He will stay back all game, forming a 3 man defence when in attack and Marcelo runs forward, giving De Rossi and Modric more freedom to push up the pitch.

Game Plan – I want my team to play counter attacking football. We need to be in their faces by continuously pressing them and keeping all men behind the ball (when we are off the ball). When on the ball we need to be direct and composed. We need to use our wingers as much as possible because that is where I believe we can take advantage of them. Their full backs will be attacking a lot and leaving plenty of gaps behind them. We need to dominate the midfield battle and control the game how we want it to be controlled. We need to control possession and work the ball into spaces. Try and keep it tight for the opposition so when we get the ball we can exploit any spaces left.
Our full backs and wingers shall press as well. Our team will be aiming to obtain the ball as soon as possible and then punish the opposition with swift attacks. We want to play a deep defensive line and keep things tight on the pitch. Therefore we shall aim to keep our defence behind the centre circle off the ball bar our full backs who will be invited to move forward. We want to reduce the amount of freedom the opposition has on the ball. Our players will keep close to the opposition’s men and push them back. We want to force errors out of them and push off the ball. Our two centre backs will stick together, whether that is when we are off the ball or when we are up for set pieces. The full backs shall cover the goal area during these set pieces. Our full backs shall be keeping our defensive line tight when we are off the ball, sticking in a line with our centre backs. However on the ball I want them moving forward and helping form the attacks. Our two defensive midfielders will be looking to slow down play, hold the ball and create opportunities by moving the ball forward as quick as possible. Defensively this will force the game to be tight and cancel out the opposition. On the ball it should free up space for our attackers and move forward as quickly as possible.
Our attacking play will be fast and neat. Our two defensive midfielders will be breaking up play, holding on to the ball and then setting our wingers free. This means we want to play with plenty of pace. Out of our 2 wingers Navas is our fastest and we are likely to get some space in this area. Rakitic is playing central today so he should be able to make plenty of runs. Our wingers and number 10 shall be integrating with each other’s play and therefore we will have plenty of options during our attacks.
Positional Tactics:
Piszczek should play as a wing back. I want him to move forward during our attacks. He should stay out wide to create a crossing option. I want him to create space for our wingers. While defending Piszczek should try and push the player back. If he can’t do that he should push him out wide to a position where he has to kick the ball off. Bernat should play the same way.
Cahill should use his height and strength to keep the striker(s) out of the game. I want him to keep with that attacker at all times or keep him offside. He should try and header every ball out of the box or kick it away preferably to the wingers. He should only go up for corners/free kicks. Inigo should play the same way as Cahill.
Bender will be the DM. He should look to disrupt their attacking play and reduce the space around their playmaker. He should hold his position and not get caught up field. I want him to control the style of the game we play. While acting as cover for our defence he should also separate the midfield from the defence by keeping hold of the ball and form attacks.
Schwein will be our box-box midfielder. I want him to identify spaces up the pitch. He should take hold of the ball and supply it to any of the front 3 ahead and try to exploit any space. When we’re attacking I want him to move up and stay in space. When off the ball he should be a ball winning player.
I want Navas to use his skill and pace and make runs into the box. He must use his pace to outrun the full back but also his quality control of the ball to dribble round him. When we’re off the ball I want him help Piszczek cover their full back. I would like Di Maria to do the same.
Rakitic should use his pace and strength to make runs into the box and opening up space for Cavani. He will look to supply the ball to the wingers as well. Try and force their defensive midfielder to move out of position and allow our wingers to use that space by running into the centre. Off the ball he should drop back and play deeper therefore he will be able to use more of his trickery to open up games during a counter attack.
I would like Rakitic, Navas and Di Maria to intersect and change positions.
Cavani must use his pace and skill to open up spaces for the wingers and central players to run into. I want him to stay inside the box so that he remains an option in the middle. However he should drop deeper to bring the defenders forward and open up space behind them. He should look to overpower their defenders with his pace and strength and height. He should constantly look to move into space to create himself as an option for the defence. When we’re defending he should mark the player at the edge of the box.

Leicester vs Villa
4-3-3/4-5-1
We have put out a team full of pace and strength. At home, we play with a high tempo.
We will be direct going forward. Attacking with pace down the wings, and quick interchanging passing. El Sha and Mirallas will look to get close to Alcacer. Eriksen is key to our attacking play, looking for fast combination layoffs with the wingers and fbs.
Importantly we have a side that wiill form a strong defensive unit. Defending in numbers in a rigid 4-5-1 formation we want to win the ball back as quickly as possible, and release our attacking players as quickly as possible.

---------- Carrick -- Song
------------- C.Eriksen

-------------- P.Alcacer
Subs. Butland, Reid, Romulo, D.Suarez, Chadli, Ljajic, P.Dybala
We start the game with a high intensity and be direct going forward. Looking to put Villa on the backfoot from the off. We will press high up the pitch, playing with a high tempo in possession as we always look to go forward with direct passing.
Two key features of our attacking play will be direct passing and fast combination layoffs between Eriksen, Paco and the wide forwards as we look to attack down the flanks.
Defensive shape
We always seek to defend from our rigid formation.
When there dm’s come deep to get the ball, Paco and one of WGs/AM shut out the space in front of them, force them back to their defenders as our other four midfielders and fb’s will pick up their players. The two defensive midfielders will defend deep in front of the back four. Ensuring there is no gaps in between the defence and midfield.
The defence will ensure that as Wolves advance further up the park, the line drops deep so there is no space in behind. As Wolves advance into higher areas of the park and into our half, our shape will resemble a 4-1-4-1.
Carrick drops in between defence and midfield, reading the play and sweeping up danger in between the lines. Song and Eriksen in cm. This shape ensures there is no space for Villa to work in. Push them in to areas where they can’t hurt us. When they get to areas where they can hurt us, crowd us out.
Our fb’s up against their wide forwards are to drop off more and narrow the play so they can bide their time, waiting for the right time to make the tackle and not diving in. If he does manage to get past you, there’s a chance to stop the cross.
Attacking play
One fb bombs forward at a time, the other remains in line with Carrick/Song. Offering defensive cover, but also importantly in a position to attack if we switch the play.
On each side the fbs and wingers offer great width, once we get into the final third, one of the fb/wg has license to come inside providing close support to Alcacer. Eriksen and one of Song/Carrick will always be seeking to link up with the wide players.
Get the wide forwards and Eriksen in the final third and they will provide a great goalscoring threat, alternatively, simply get balls into the box for Alcacer.
Hit Villa down the wings, the wingers and fbs look to double up on their fbs. Getting down the flanks, and linking with Eriksen and Paco. In the middle of the park, the midfield trio look to keep the ball on the deck passing in triangles, triangles that are directed out wide, as we look to shift the ball wider as we advance into the opposition half.
Attacking movement in the final third is key. One of the fb or wg running inside, the other going down the line. This ensures we have at least one dummy run, creating space and pulling Villa defenders out of position.
Eriksen is the player we want linking up with the wide men, and then getting up to support Paco.
Subs.
If winning after 70 mins bring Romulo on for Song. Greater strength in cm.
If winning after 75 mins bring on Chadli for El Sha and Dybala for Paco. Fresh pace in attack that will allow us to counter and expose Villa as they seek to attack.
If drawing after 70 mins bring on Chadli for El Sha. A more fluid front three. Looking to use their pace against a battered cb duo.
If drawing after 75 mins bring on Suarez for Song. Fresh creativity that can dominate possession with Eriksen and create chances for our pacey front three.
If drawing after 80 mins bring on Dybala for El Sha. Mirallas right, Chaldi left.
If losing after 60 mins bring on Chadli for Song. 4-4-2. Chaldi left, El Sha up top with Paco.
If losing after 75 mins bring on Suarez for Inler. More strength and attacking ability.
If losing after 76 mins bring on Dybala for El Sha.
If red go 4-4-1. If defender bring on Reid to fill in.
If wide player bring on Chadli for Eriksen. If cm, bring on Romulo for Eriksen. Focus play down wings
If Paco, bring on Dybala for Eriksen.
------------------- De Gea -------------
Sagna --- Ivanovic --- Ramos -- Coentrao
-------- J.Martinez ---- D.Luiz ------------
A.Robben ------ S.Cazorla ------- F.Ribery
---------------- Carlos Tevez ---------------
Subs : Caballero, Johnson, Marquinhos, Fletcher, Ozil, Dzeko, Kane
-----------------
Ozil > Cazorla - 60th minute - As the game opens up in the latter stages we'll give Ozil the freedom to play a free role in the centre and look to use his vision to get the strikers/wingers in real space.
Dzeko > Tevez - 75th minute - Dzeko look to play a similar role to Tevez looking to hold up the play and getting others involved whilst making late runs into the box.
----------------------
The outline:
We’re back after the break with a real purpose.
I want us playing similar to Bayern with the wingers carrying a real threat, a potent forward added with real power and possessiveness in midfield and defence.
We must from the outset look to present a physical and aggressive approach. I want us to prevent them from playing with any rhythm or flow so we must work as a cohesive unit working tirelessely to defend whilst going forward we can exploit them with the pace we possess.
I want us to play with high intensity however we need to know when to press and when to sit off. C.Tevez will press from the front whilst I want the rest of the side pressing when they get into our half, we must keep a well organised and compact shape looking to cut down all avenues of a pass as quick as possible to ensure theres no purpose to their play.
In defence we look to defend deep as we feel this suits our CB’s best in looking to cut off any supply to their striker. We’ll look to dominate physically looking to bully off the ball showing who’s boss. Ramos and Ivanovic must dominate from the outset and their experience should come to the fore. In midfield Javi Martinez and D.Luiz must maintain the pressure and look to disrupt the play.
Attacking wise I want us to stretch them as much as possible down the flanks with Robben and Ribery very direct and the FB’s giving them real support on the outside. Cazorla is the go to man in terms of dictating the play whilst Tevez is as prolific as they come at the minute and will ensure their CB’s get a real grilling throughout the game.
-----------------
Individual tactics:
De Gea has strong competition so must be on his toes, I want him to command his area, very vocal, quick off his feet and distribution swift and on point.
FB’s both very solid defensively and must look to keep it simple today, we need to present from the outset that it will take an almost striking effort to get past these two, I want us to get as physical as possible looking to muscle them off the ball and generally looking to use a bullying demeanour. Our wingers need to assist them as much as possible doubling up on the opposition’s and not giving an inch so we can prevent them cutting inside and imposing themselves.
Ramos and Ivanovic add additional layers to our defensive solidarity, Ramos is as committed as they come and should look to lead the line. He’s responsible for marking their main striker today and should firmly look to get stuck in going toe to toe with every challenge and pushing him back as much as possible, I want us to suck as much confidence out of their striker as possible due to his limited involvement so he makes fewer runs and worth ethic is questioned. Ivanovic partners Ramos and is entirely in his comfort zone. He should look to keep an eye on second runners and look to keep everything in check generally staying alert to any danger.
J.Martinez and D.Luiz add force and bite to our midfield, Martinez is the powerhouse and should look to flex his muscles and get snapping at heels. He must work tirelessly for the full 90 setting the perfect example to others as we work collectively to keep them out. D.Luiz partners and I want him to run his socks off. I want him getting stuck in so we can retrieve the ball back as quickly as possible and start our own attacks through his creative nature.
Robben will act as the focal point, we generally want everything to pass through him. I want him pulling the strings and dictating the play, v direct looking to use his drive to fly past challenges and opening up the game so others have the space and time when they receive the ball.
The others must support. Cazorla is the mastermind in midfield looking to use his vision and passing range to get others in space, offloading to the wingers and making late runs into the box looking to get on the end of deliveries, Ribery very direct looking to take on players and cutting inside to good measure looking to make things happen.
C.Tevez is the perfect foil for us up top today, v well experienced at playing such a role and will defiantly get the better of defenders as he is strong, powerful and can hold his own. A very willing runner and likes to get involved as much as possible whilst not the type to get bogged down. He’ll look to link-up with others as much as possible and rile their defenders both on and off the ball.

-----------------Valdes---------------
Montoya Shawcross P.Jagielka Darmian
---------------Wanyama-------------
Januzaj McCarthy Ramires Lallana
------------------Bony----------------
Kiko, Davies, Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Montero, Remy, Austin
Victor Valdes, experienced goalkeeper, great shot stopper, great to have him in goal behind the back four. Will look to dominate his patch of grass and get the ball moving quickly.
Montoya back so Darmian switches back to left back, Jagielka along with Shawcross who comes into the side due to injuriee, we are certainly no worse off defensivley. We must keep concentration at all times, Mark the attacking players ie Montoya and Darmian must stop their wingers getting to the bye line any way they can and stop them cutting inside. Shawcrossg will pick up their centre forward and mark him very tightly. Jagielka is the Captain and he is there to lead by example, keep the back four in a line when we defend making it impossible for them to break us down.
Wanyama again in the DM role, a hard man to break done and very effective in the tackle his experience gets him into the correct positions when he needs to be to stop there attacking midfielder, do not allow him time or space to support the CF or indeed shorten the time he has to pass the ball around him. McCarthy and Ramires in the centre of the pitch, look to dominate the game, both Ramires and McCarthy can move up the field to assist Bony, but they must be careful, we cannot be exposed against a very good Birmingham side, In Januzaj and Lallana we have two very quick wingers, when we attack I want it to be done very quickly. Down the right I want Montoya and Januzaj to work in tandom, thus using each other to get the space required to get to the bye line, give and go. Januzaj is very quick andskillful so will be a handful for there Left back. When the right hand attacks Darmian stays back, Lallana moves into the box to support Bony and the same on the other side when the left hand side attacks, Januzaj gets into the box, Montoya stays back, so when we are going forward we always have at least two ready to pounce on the cross balls, McCarthy or Ramires on the edge and depending what side two players down the wing looking to get these cross balls in.
Defending this must be a stringent 4-1-4 system that will stop them coming through, they must work hard as they have some fantastic players who must not be allowed to play.
Wilfried Bony is the prefect No.9, big, strong, a bit of pace and most of all he can score goals, can hold of the CB marking him and drive into the area. Or indeed, he can hold the ball up looking for the support coming his way in Januzaj, Lallana, Ramires and McCarthy, Always on the last man ready to get into dangers areas.
Captain is Phil Jagielka
Penalty taker - Wilfried Bony
Free Kicks - Lallana
Corners - Januzaj and Lallana
Substitutes
If we are losing on 70 minutes Loic Remy will come on for Ramires and play just behind Bony in a 4-4-1-1, on 80 Minutes, Montero and Austin will come on for Januzaj and Bony and play 4-4-2
If we are winning then Sissoko will be a direct change for Ramires on 75 minutes and Loic Remy for Bony on 85 Minutes
If we are drawing, then on 70 minutes, Montero for Januzaj and Remy for Bony

Birmingham v MANCHESTER UNITED
Injuries: Ross Barkley, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Maxime Gonalons, Andre Schurrle
----------------Buffon
Alves - Howedes - Dante - Gaya
----------Khedira - Perez
--Bellarabi - Fabregas - Hazard
---------------Rooney
Subs: Mandanda, Rafael, Subotic, Moreno, Pirlo, Redmond, Van Persie
Huge game today away to Birmingham, they have some world class players in their side, however we have the players to hurt them and cause them real problems.
Alves/Gaya - Both of you to force the Birmingham wingers out wide, do not allow them to come inside as this will cause more problems for our midfield. They will want to cut inside so force them outside and block their crosses at source. They will try to create problems infield so its vital you only show them down the wing. If they play a diamond with no wingers you will need to form a narrow back four with the CB's and leave no spaces in behind. When we have possession, push forward and support Bellarabi/Hazard as they will try to run inside the fullback and you will provide the overlap to either create space or supply crosses into the area for Rooney and link with Fabregas. You will need to track back very quickly to ensure we don't get caught on the break.
Khedira/Perez - Khedira the defensive midfielder, assist the CB's in dealing with the Birmingham attack, if they play an AM stay on him, but don't follow if he drifts wide. If they have a second striker who drops off ensure you're on top of him too. Be first to any loose balls and in possession look for the attackers and pass rather than bring the ball out. Perez is the box to box CM, also able to assist at DM but with more creativity, link the play between defence and attack. Remain composed throughout.
Fabregas - Playing the AM role, with the ball I want you to drift left and right, drag their DM out of position as they will be assigned to track your runs, swap with Bellarabi and Hazard on occasion to create confusion and leave space for your teammates to run into. Link with Hazard, Bellarabi, Rooney and Perez, look for Rooney on the last defender for a through ball and also shoot if you get the opportunity. Get yourself between their DM and the ball, make them go through you and foul you to stop you, thus creating setpiece chances for us.
Bellarabi/Hazard - Both playing out wide and both have the pace and trickery to beat the Birmingham fullbacks and get crosses in, but both of you will also have our fullback overlapping giving you the chance to cut inside and get shots in. Look to supply Rooney with chances and also provide yourselves with chances. Link up with Fabregas, and capitalise on the space Rooney's presence will create for you. Without the ball I expect you two to track back and assist your fullback.
Rooney - you will be expected to occupy the Birmingham centrebacks, hold up possession and look to turn the defender and shoot. Be strong in the air and look for your teammates trying to pick you out from deep. Shoot on sight. Stay on the last defender's shoulder for any passes in behind.
Red card, switch to 4-4-1 formation
If Buffon: Mandanda for Perez, Fabregas to CM
If Alves: Rafael for Perez, Fabregas to CM
If Howedes or Dante: Subotic for Perez, Fabregas to CM
If Gaya: Moreno for Perez, Fabregas to CM
If Khedira: No change, Fabregas and Perez in CM
If Perez: No change, Fabregas to CM
If Bellarabi or Hazard: Redmond for Perez, Fabregas to CM, Redmond to RM/LM
If Fabregas: No change
If Rooney: Van Persie for Perez, Fabregas to CM
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Fabregas off, Pirlo on. Switch to 4-5-1 with Pirlo in-between Khedira and Perez. Absorb pressure and hit on the break.
If drawing: Perez off, Van Persie on. Fabregas into CM, Rooney to AM/SS and Van Persie upfront. Same formation but more attacking threat, push for the winner without overcommitting.
If losing: Perez and Khedira off, Van Persie and Pirlo on. Switch to 4-1-3-2, fullbacks push on to wingbacks, Pirlo the quarterback, Rooney and Van Persie upfront. Push for goals.
I will be playing a 5-4-1 formation as I will look to play for a draw against a very strong arsenal side. They have the beast yaya Toure injured in midfield so hopefully that makes a difference.

DEFENCE
My first choice is injured so Rajkovic will have to man up this game.
Rajkovic will be commanding and will deal with high balls into the box. Defenders will play a deep line so the opposition cant utilise their pace in attack. Full backs will be on a conservative mind set to begin with but as the match goes on they will attack more. They will not forget their defensive responsibilities as they will not let the opposition wingers beat them and take on. I want everyone deep defending. I want the right back and right wing to double up on Ronaldo when he has the ball.
MIDFIELD
I'm playing 2 DM'S today. De Jong will play a defensive mid role. He will be tasked with protecting the back four and making interxeptions when the opposition attack. He will also be covering for my full backs whenever they are attacking. Montolivo will be my playmaker. They will look to move the ball forward. Montolivo has great passing ability and his job will be to thread dangerous through balls to my wingers and striker,. When there is a chance from long range I want them to have a pop at goal. They both have the ability to score screamers from far out. Also De Jong will try and injure Ronaldo early on.
WIN GERS
I'm playing 2 new signings on the wing today in Sam and Jese.
They will look to beat the opposition full backs with their pace and trickery. I want them to dribble to the by line and get a cross in for Huntelaar to score. Jese will look to cut in from the left and try and try and get a shot in from long range.
Take of De Jong p and stick on Downing in an attacking central role. Take of Montolivo for Tiago to add fresh legs. Take of Mexes and play 4 at the back. Put on Zarate in strike.
SUBS IF WINNING BY 70 MINS
Take off Huntelaar for Zarate to add fresh legs. Go on a defensive counter attacking mind set

In goal Neuer, for me the best Goalkeeper there is, a fantastic shot stopper and a keeper that instills confidence in the back four, leads by example from the back, shouting instructions to hos defenders. Out quickly to shut down strikers and close there shooting angles down. Punches clear what he cant catch from high balls and likes to release early to set up quick counters.
Same back four, Varane and Bonucci are proving a solid pairing at CB, on this occassion Bonucci will man mark the CF, quick and skillfull for a CB, with great marking abilities, will keep the CF away from goal and be on to him quickly as he comes forward so he can intercept any though he has of going for goal. When in possession he will carry the ball out and start attacks from the back. Varane alongside will mark any other forwards that come up for corners etc and make sure he is strong enough to get the ball away from danger, will help out Bonucci if needed. varane also very good with the ball at feet, but I stress neither takes any risk.
Ricardo and Debuchy at fullback, when we attack one goes at a time the other sits back. When they attack I want them bombing down the wing over lapping the winger to allow them to cut inside, quick passing between the two to get them passed the opposition fullback, which will see the fullback drive towards the bye line to get a quick cross in. If its not a cross then look for the winger inside to play a quick pass back to them so they can drive into the box. Defending both will have to be vigilant and always mindful of the tricks the opposite winger can do. Be onto them quickly not allowing them the time to get going, push them out wide and stop them becoming a threat.
Iturraspe sits just in front of the two cbs, he stops there flow between midfield and attack, always watchful for the AM and when they come forward he will look to intercept any through balls or look to stop his runs forward. Even when we attack he is always mindful of the players movement and ready to act quickly if they break forward. Once the ball is won simple balls to those around him. He will be aided when we defend by Vidal who will start a little deeper to stop there attacking threat along with iturraspe, he is a workhorse and will get up and down the pitch helping defence and attack, will drive on when he gets the ball and look to get into dangerous positions where he is abig threat, tenacious player and never gives up and drives the team on.
Marek Hamsik comes in to play just aherad of them in a free role, he will get our front three into a goal scoring position with ease, his passing is subblime and will set them away very quickly, can move left or right so will take players away to allow Neymar/Sanchez get into space, all three can play the central role so will run the Villa defence ragged.
Sanchez and Neymar are class. Both lightning quick with nimble feet which more often than not takes them passed the fullback, wether they knock it passed them and drive on or simple a quick turn, and there away. Will have fullbacks supporting them so this allows them to pass and cut inside where both are very useful. Give and go, wait for the return and go for goal, or look to drive into the box in support of Benzema. Neymar focusses more on the ttricks and twists to see him passed, whereas Sanchez likes to make the pass that gives him time to look for space for him to drive into and wait for the return, Sanchez is very hard working and will always make himself available for the ball. Both very dangerous and with support from there respective fullbacks we will be a danger out wide. When defending look to get back and stop there defenders becoming a threat. With Benzema and hamsik behind and Vidal making late breaksthe five players will be a huge threat.
Benzema goes up top two good feet, will look to get into positions that he will become dangerous, in fact my front three are a danger and there movement will be a serious concern for the other team. Pace and movement from them, can all play CF or drift wide so when the winger comes in Benzema will be looking to drag the CB away freeing up room for the other two to drive into. With Hamsik etc also supporting we are a huge goal threat to anyone. I want quick football as they arent the biggest of lads, ball to feet and always looking up for a pass..We must go at Villa from the off but also very cautious of there attacking capabilities...

We may be bottom of the table, but we continue to play in the manner we want to, however today we drop to a more orthodox 4-2-3-1, to help us dominate possession.
Possession football, playing out from the back, invite the opposition on to us, manipulating their formation with our passing and when the opportunity presents itself we attack quickly and direct, using the pace of our wide players to open up the opposition.
We seek to win this game in the middle of the park, by coming out on top of the midfield battle, allowing us to take the game to the opposition. Carrick sets the tempo, taking the ball from the defence and spreading the play. Inler provides an all action cm partner, together providing the perfect pivot for our midfield and a perfect shield in front of the back four. Eriksen in front, is the link man in the final third, seeking
In the middle of the park, the midfield trio look to keep the ball on the deck passing in triangles, triangles that are directed out wide as gaps appear in the opposition formation, we look to shift the ball wider as we advance into the opposition half.
Attacking movement in the final third is key. One of the fb or wg running inside, the other going down the line. This ensures we have at least one dummy run, creating space and pulling Hull defenders out of position.
In the final third, the key features of our play will be direct passing and fast combination layoffs between Eriksen, Paco and the wide players as we look to attack down the flanks. Movement creates space for Eriksen to play the killer ball.

Importantly we have a side that wiill form a strong defensive unit. Defending in numbers in a rigid 4-5-1 formation we want to win the ball back as quickly as possible.
The defence will ensure that as Hull advance further up the park, the line drops deep so there is no space in behind. As Hull advance into higher areas of the park and into our half, our shape will resemble a 4-1-4-1.
Carrick drops in between defence and midfield, reading the play and sweeping up danger in between the lines. Inler and Eriksen in cm. This shape ensures there is no space for Hull to work in. Push them in to areas where they can’t hurt us. When they get to areas where they can hurt us, crowd them out.
Our fb’s up against their wide forwards are to drop off more and narrow the play so they can bide their time, waiting for the right time to make the tackle and not diving in. If he does manage to get past you, there’s a chance to stop the cross.
Manolas and Musacchio are a pillar of strength and power in central defence, their physical prowess and pace would prove a nightmare for any forward. Their ability to dominate in the box will be important, allowing Casillas to stick to what he’s one of the best in the world at, his leadership will also be important for the defence. Manolas will pick up the opposition striker, while Musacchio is the defender with the quality to read the game and be in the right position at the right time.
Attacking play
Movement is key. One fb bombs forward at a time, the other remains in line with Carrick/Inler, more advanced than the defence and ready to join the attack, but offering a shield in front of them with the deepest midfielder. Offering defensive cover, but also importantly in a position to attack if we switch the play.
On each side the fbs and wingers offer great width, once we get into the final third, one of the fb/wg has license to come inside providing close support to Alcacer. Eriksen and one of Inler/Carrick will always be seeking to link up with the wide players.
Attacking with pace down the wings, and quick interchanging passing. Paco is a striker who likes to get involved in the play, coming deep will allow our attacking trio, who are full of goals, to get ahead of the play confusing the opposition and creating opportunies.
Get the wingers and Eriksen in the final third and they will provide a great goalscoring threat.
Hit Hull down the wings, the wingers and fbs look to double up on their fbs. Getting down the flanks, and linking with Eriksen and Paco.
Captain: M.Carrick. Leads by example.
Free kicks: Eriksen/Mirallas/Baines.
Subs.
If winning after 70 mins bring on Dembele for Eriksen. As the game opens up, and Hull push for a goal. Dembele will inject power and strength to allow us to break quickly.
If winning after 75 mins bring on Giroud for Alcacer. More direct option. Hold up ball.
If winning after 80 mins bring on Romulo for Carrick. Power and fresh legs to protect defence.

Foster will be quick off his line for one on ones and crosses into the box.

Centre Mids

Parejo will look to create himself little pockets of space so he can get on the ball and keep the game ticking over, Strootman will be playing a more all round game looking to put himself about, being a key figure in the pressing game and using his energy to get forward and make late runs into attacking positions. When defending, both players will be key components of our pressing game closing down the midfielders and restrict them to minimal time on the ball.
Attacking Midfielder

Mata should be looking to make himself available for a pass as much as possible, when we have the ball in the middle of the pitch, he shouldn't be afraid to come a bit deeper to get the ball and take on players himself or look to make an attacking pass. He should also look to be making late runs into the box as an attacking option when we have the ball out wide. When defending, he should be looking to occupy the defensive pivot, stop him being an out ball for the opposition.

Wingers

When they are off the ball, the emphasis for both wingers will be to drift around combining with the other attackers to get little areas of space to take advantage of the quick transitions from defence to attack. then when they are on the ball the emphasis will be more on cutting inside with the occasional long shot to test the keeper, and only occasionally putting in crosses, getting involved in a fast intricate style of passing with Mata and Suarez, they should also look to run at players as they will be cautious not to give away a free kick or penalty. When the opposite winger has the ball, the winger without the ball should look to find space between the CB and FB to add an extra body for any crosses.

Set Pieces

Corners - Parejo takes the corners, the CB's go into the box, the FB's stay back to prevent counters, the CB's, Suarez and Callejon work in a group to make little blocks and cross-runs to lose a marker so 1 or 2 can get a free run at the ball, Strootman looks to limit the opposition keeper from moving around the 6 yard box. Mata and Nasri take positions just outside the box to pick up weak clearances and occasionally providing the short pass option to try and draw 2 defenders out of the box.

Free Kicks - Suarez takes Direct FK's

For Indirect FK's, follow the same directives for Corners

Penalties - Suarez is the designated taker.

Subs

If Winning

72 mins - Allen for Mata - The wingers tuck back, but look to get out quickly and counter if the opposition over-commit for a route back into the game.
move to a 3 CM midfield.

85 + 87 Mins - Feghouli for Callejon and Mane for Nasri - Fresh legs and more defensive players with the added element of running down the clock.

If Losing

71 Mins - Higuain, Mane and Rojo for Clyne, Clichy and Parejo - switch to a 3-5-2 with emphasis on the wings backs acting as wingers and we go all out attacking for a way to get back into the game.

We set up in as a 4-5-1 looking to play from the front and take the game to Swansea. We will set up the defend from the front, pressing them high up the field to keep us in control of the game, give them no room to attack or settle on the ball and look to keep attacks going at them, looking to use our excellent movement to find the weak spots.
We must assert our authority on the game and look to control the possession by not allowing Swansea time and space when they get the ball, doing so by pressing high up the field. The front four will begin the pressing, looking to close off the wide options with our wingers, whilst Costa and Oscar will press the central players closest to the ball, either the CBs or DMs, we look to close off the options to stretch the game with width and draw them into the compacted midfield area. Whilst we press their midfielders with our all action CMs to stop them picking up the tempo, keep Swanseas game slow and we can stop them being a threat.
After that, defend the area of the pitch the ball has been played to by compacting the side. If we have forced them central we move to defend this horizontal area of the pitch in numbers, Costa and Oscar always harrying the deep midfielders, whilst Matuidi and Nainngolan look to control the midfield, don't pressing quickly, focus on squeezing both space and players and slowing Swansea down, forcing them to rush every touch, we have plenty of power in this midfield and will use that to bully Swansea players out of the game if needed, using nightly fouls to disrupt their rhythm if they are building momentum. The two widemen will tuck inside and go level with our CMs in order to close off all space, being quick to close down wide players if Swansea look for that route. If they do move it wide, we look to reposition to close down that space, with FB and winger closing down the flank and the midfield stepping across into a position to cut off the central pass. Whilst the ball is central the back four remain connected in close quarters, no spaces between themselves, with a deep line so that pace from Swansea won't penetrate us, if they try that, FBs have the speed to cover our CBs.
If they are really pushing us back, fall to defend the 18 yard box, FBs tuck in alongside the CBs to give us to compact banks of four and a five, only pushing wide if Hull do, Oscar falls back alongside the CMs to help control their possession, keep disciplined, wait for the chance to break and use our counter attacks to full effect. Later in the game if we have a comfortable lead we look to be more controlled in our tempo, keep the ball circulating, defend a little deeper to draw them out and hit them on the counter as they start to leave spaces.
Today we look to be on the front foot, controlling the possession and using the ball with plenty of pace and movement. Our particular focus will be targeting their channels, exploiting weaknesses in their defence by looking to penetrate the spaces between CB and FB using quick combinations, our FBs looking to push up the field and make the overlapping runs that stretch Swansea, with their winger then making the inside runs looking to burst into the channels where they have Costa and Oscar to aim for. At times we will look to the wingers to hold width, usually the ploy down our right with Candreva holding width, Azpi in support and both Oscar and Griezzman then moving across to help the build up in these areas, looking to open them up and once again use Costa's movement in the box to full effect. We will look to move the ball around with precision in the midfield, with Oscar the spare man, moving all over the field, becoming Impossible to mark, dropping deeper to link with the CMs and free one of them to move further up, or moving wide to link with the wide men, or working around Costa, finding the spaces around the area for a quick touch into the path of Costa or a runner. We mustn't be afraid to be direct with them, we have players in the team who can run at the Swansea back line and hurt them, in particular we look to Griezzman to come off the flank and run at the heart of them, providing support to Costa, whilst Candreva can make these runs down the flanks in order to stretch things, whilst the movement of Candreva and Costa means that there's always the option of a ball over the top. In moments when Swansea get forward we must be ready to counter, using the wide men's pace and Costas quick link up play to full effect.
Individual:
Courtois commands his area, collecting crosses and distributing quickly.
FBs tight to CBs when defending deep, but today push higher up to support attacks and press the wingers further up the field.
Terry the physical presence to mark the striker, winning all the duels, N'Koulou cover his partner. Don’t allow them to have time and space to control the ball and link up.
Matuidi and Nainggolan look to be all action, quick to recover possession when we lose it and using the ball wisely when they get it to keep attacks going, Nainngolan create from deep, Matuidi an engine to drive on when needed.
Candreva and Griezzman lots of workrate in defensive, lots of movement in attack, stretch the game, drift inside to find spaces, help out all over the pitch, Griezzman our flair player to come inside.
Oscar to be chief creator, moving around when we get the ball to link our attacks together, looking to find the spaces, and act as the free player for wall passes, using his elusive movements to get into these positions. He works harder than anybody, getting stuck in to tackles and closing off corridors of space all game long. If Costa is isolated, get closer to him.
Costa will use his movement in the box to full effect, always giving the attacks an end product. He will use his strength to hold up the ball and allow others to make runs off him.
Subs:
If Winning: Origi for Oscar 70', push up alongside Costa, this keeps us on the front foot and puts more pressure on their defence, limiting them attack wise. Kondogbia for Costa 80', back to 3 in midfield, Kondogbia comes on to break up any Swansea attempt to attack us.
If Drawing: Lamela for Candreva 70', looks to add to the quick build up play. Benteke for Oscar 75', 2 up top, with more to aim for in the box we can occupy their CBs, allowing both wide men to be more effective in central areas. Thauvin for Griezzman 80', freedom to go and find the best positions and run at tiring defenders.
If Losing: Nainngolan, Azpilicueta and Luis all off, De Vrij, Benteke and Origi on 65', into a 3-5-2 and look to hurt them in central areas with our power and pace:
Courtois
N'Koulou Terry De Vrij
Matuidi Oscar
Candreva Griezzman Origi
Benteke Costa
Keep the ball, get the wingers wide to stretch the game, take players on and put the ball into the box for the big strikers, if still not working, Origi go into the box, Griezzman provide the width. Oscar gets the ball into the space and Matuidi is spare man if they try and break he must get into position to at least slow things down.
------------------- De Gea -------------
Sagna --- Ivanovic --- Ramos -- Coentrao
-------- J.Martinez ---- Fernando ------------
A.Robben ------ S.Cazorla ------- F.Ribery
---------------- Carlos Tevez ---------------
Subs : Caballero, D.Luiz, Nagatamo, Wilshere, Pastore, Dzeko, Kane
-----------------
Pastore > Cazorla - 60th minute - As the game opens up in the latter stages we'll give Pastore the freedom to play a free role in the centre and look to use his vision to get the strikers/wingers in real space.
Dzeko > Tevez - 75th minute - Dzeko look to play a similar role to Tevez looking to hold up the play and getting others involved whilst making late runs into the box.
80th min+ (if winning) Wilshere > Fernando - A fresh face in midfield to ensure we can dictate the tempo of the game to our needs.
----------------------
The outline:
I want us playing similar to Bayern with the wingers carrying a real threat, a potent forward added with real power and possessiveness in midfield and defence.
We must from the outset look to present a physical and aggressive approach. I want us to prevent them from playing with any rhythm or flow so we must work as a cohesive unit working tirelessely to defend whilst going forward we can exploit them with the pace we possess.
In defence we look to defend deep as we feel this suits our CB’s best in looking to cut off any supply to their striker. We’ll look to dominate physically looking to bully off the ball showing who’s boss. Ramos and Ivanovic must dominate from the outset and their experience should come to the fore. In midfield Javi Martinez and Fernando must maintain the pressure and look to disrupt the play.
J.Martinez and Fernando add force and bite to our midfield, Martinez is the powerhouse and should look to flex his muscles and get snapping at heels. He must work tirelessly for the full 90 setting the perfect example to others as we work collectively to keep them out. Fernando partners and I want him to run his socks off. I want him getting stuck in so we can retrieve the ball back as quickly as possible and start our own attacks.

Subs

75 – Jovetic for Cavani
Chiellin should play the same way as Cahill.
Rakitic will be our box-box midfielder.
Mkhi should use his pace and strength to make runs into the box and opening up space for Cavani. He will look to supply the ball to the wingers as well. Try and force their defensive midfielder to move out of position and allow our wingers to use that space by running into the centre. Off the ball he should drop back and play deeper therefore he will be able to use more of his trickery to open up games during a counter attack.
I would like Mkhi, Navas and Di Maria to intersect and change positions.

Ospina will be commanding and will deal with high balls into the box. Defenders will play a deep line so the opposition cant utilise their pace in attack. Full backs will be on a conservative mind set to begin with but as the match goes on they will attack more.
SUBS IF WINNING BY 70 MINS
Take off Huntelaar for Zarate to add fresh legs. Go on a defensive counter attacking mind set.

Subs:
IF LOSING:
Tadic for Motta 75mins. Tadic to go further field and assist the forwards.
IF WINNING:
Cerci on Negredo 75mins. Cerci to swap with Wellbeck
Capt: Albiol
Free kicks: Valencia

Pens: Negredo

Subs

If Winning

72 mins - Geis for Pjanic - The wingers tuck back, but with the knowledge to get out quickly for the front 3 to try and counter if the opposition over-commit for a route back into the game.
Geis sits in at DM with Parejo moving forward.

85 + 87 Mins - Feghouli for Callejon and Siquera for Nasri - Fresh legs and more defensive players with the added element of running down the clock.

If Losing

71 Mins - Higuain, Mata and Rojo for Clyne, Clichy and Parejo - switch to a 3-5-2 with emphasis on the wings backs acting as wingers and we go all out attacking for a way to get back into the game.

Free Kicks: Gotze
Corners: Gotze

70 - Mkhi for Rakitic – Change to 4-2-31 with Mkhi behind the striker

75 – Jovetic for Cavani

Vice Captain: Inigo

-------------- Butland
Danilo –Manolas – Musacchio - Kaya
---------- Carrick -- Song
------------- C.Eriksen
Mirallas ---------------------- El Sha

---------------------De Jong----------Montolivo-----------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------Huntelaar-------------------
Subs Poli, De Silvestri, Tiago, Menez, Downing, Zarate, Kovacic
Take of De Jong p and stick on Downing in an attacking central role. Take of Montolivo for Tiago to add fresh legs. Take of Mexes and play 4 at the back. Put on Zarate in strike.
SUBS IF WINNING BY 70 MINS
Take off Huntelaar for Zarate to add fresh legs. Go on a defensive counter attacking mind set

Krul, Chambers, Rabiot, Guarin, Pereyra, Lukaku, Morata

If drawing after 65 mins bring on El Sha for Chadli. Fresh injection of pace and ideas. Push for the win.
If drawing after 75 mins bring on D.Suarez for Carrick. Creative fresh legs in cm. Inler dm.
If drawing after 80 mins bring on Giroud for Alcacer, super sub on.
If losing after 65 mins bring on El Sha for Chadli and Suarez for Carrick. 4-3-3.
If losing after 75 mins bring on Giroud for Alcacer. Super sub.

Foster will be quick off his line for one on ones and crosses into the box.

Chiellin should play the same way as Cahill.
Rakitic will be our box-box midfielder.
