Have a nice evening Greaves..

I'm afraid, I have some bad news regarding your new stadium.

Erick Pickles has rejected plans to demolish Smithfield market. It's only matter of a time he is going to reject your CPO..

That £77mil figure was the accounts ending for the financial year 2012/13, I would say current debt stands around £60mil.

muffinboy.......................wrong again, The Guardian reported in January 2014 that the debt was still £77m.......................

Tblot....................................Coming from a fan who supports a club run in such a fancially imprudent manner, your comments are laughable.

You have chanted the same mantra time & again.

You can only waste money on players if you sell them off for massive loss. We have not sold any of our players & your figure of £120m is even wrong!

We spent £103m on incoming players & made £113m on outgoing players giving us a net spend of MINUS £10M..............................................

So far this year we have a net spend of MINUS £8m

In season 11/12 we had a net spend of MINUS £27m

In season 10/11 we had a net spend of £17m

In season 09/10 we had a net spend of MINUS £1M

----------------------------------------------------------------------
How can you say that it is only a waste of money if you sell them at a loss? It doesn't take a genius to work out that the money you spent on these flops will never be recovered because their value has been massively reduced by failing to achieve anything at spurs (a club which doesn't even play at a high level).

And I am bored of Chronic in particular bragging about being in europe. Most clubs would turn down the europa league if given the choice. It is a joke competition that is less important than the play off final (which we won). Also the league cup is NOT a major trophy AT ALL because the top teams don't try and win it. So it is little better than the Johnstone paint trophy.

Your logic is so illogical!

How can you know they will not achieve something? Most of them have only been with us for a season & quite often people adapt & improve in their second & third years with a club.

Claasic example was Gareth Bale, it is hard to believe the club were contemplating sending him to Forest on loan, within 6 months he was burning the PL up!

Fortunately, it is not your opinion that counts in terms of what is & what is not a Major Trophy in English Football is it?

No, according to the FA their are TWO Major Cup competitions, these being the FA Cup & The Football League Cup.
And your argument re clubs playing weakened sides in it will not wash because they do it in the FA Cup as well

QPR's only "MAJOR" Cup win was way back in 1967, and guess what? It was the Football League Cup.......................................................and here you are diminishing their achievement, are you not?

So are you saying QPR have never won a major cup competition? Or are you saying winning the play off final (after being outplayed!!) was a greater achievement?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm its gone very quiet Tblot!?

Can't wait for your brilliant repartee to kick & you come back with a great retort!

There you go again. You are failing to apply context to what I have said. Obviously the league cup used to be a major trophy. It is only recently it has been treated as a total joke.

It could be argued that in recent times the FA cup is a joke cup too. I have seen us play a few fa cup games and we are never ever ever ever up for it as a team, which is why we have a poor record in it. In the fa cup this year didn't arsenal knock you out with their reserve team

For me there are two major trophies. The league and the european cup. Nothing else really matters. How is your "amazing" trophy haul looking now

posted on 8/7/14

I noticed there is a flaw in my logic above as I got a bit carried away. The fa cup obviously used to be a big deal. Just not anymore. But the league does more than anything to show who the really big teams in football are. That is indisputable.

Anyway, the season will be here soon. And your first two games could leave you very embarrassed at calling us an "ant" and demeaning other london clubs

Read the report Moronic. Eric Pickles is favoring the locals, and in your CPO case, he might delay it further or will completely reject it..

Would spurs even sell out a bigger stadium if, as expected, their decline continues over the next few years?

posted on 8/7/14

They will they have a massive season ticket waiting list. Well, they don't get this simple fact that no one else will buy a season ticket knowing there will be tickets available for most of the games.

They might fill for local derbies, Liverpool and Man Utd games. That's it; and for remaining games, half-empty stadium i'm afraid. It was evident in the Europa league games

Good answer And this is before they feel the pain for wasting that £120m. So we can expect this situation to worsen in the coming years. What a shambles

"In the fa cup this year didn't arsenal knock you out with their reserve team "

Arsenal starting eleven
21 Fabianski
3 Sagna
17 Monreal
8 Arteta (substituted for Özil at 75 minutes'
6 Koscielny
5 Vermaelen booked at 18 minutes (substituted for Mertesacker at 45 minutes'
44 Gnabry
10 Wilshere (substituted for Flamini at 71 minutes'
14 Walcott
7 Rosicky
19 Cazorla

Hardly a reserve team

I'm sure, Spurs won't build the new stadium in the next 2 or 3 seasons. Levy will keep on procrastinating it for at least a decade.

Arsenal had reserve funds over £100 mil when building the stadium. Whereas Spurs are in debt. This dream only possible if someone from either Middle East or China would buy their club.

They could sell Sandro and Harry Kane for £150m though mate That could fund the stadium

Fabianski, Monreal, Vermaelen, Gnabry, Arteta and Rosicky are not first IX players...

Vermalen as a CB started 14 games? I don't think so. Because of continuous injuries to Arsenal back 4, he played few games.

Spurs fans should feel embarrassed for AVB coming out and asking to support the team.

AVB was correct - the atmosphere at WHL is AWFUL and has been for absolutely ages, most spurs fans will tell you this.
