Cook trying his hardest to get out. India having none of it

Nothing was going right for Cook for a long time as a batsman and as the captain. Dozens of experts (including our very own 'Englandwhoelse' and past players were demanding that Cook relinquish captaincy.

Then, suddenly his luck changed, thanks to fella by name Jadeja. Indian fielders continued to be very generous to him and so have the umpires.

All of this shows how one needs a bit of luck to be successful.

Cook's averaged 50 this series whilst being in awful form. The guy is a class act who usually finds a way to get runs.

Man with the long beard is not clicking well for us at #6.

another thrashing.. its ok soon be over for India and they can enjoy their next test series.. aint it Australia away?

No england. We have WI coming over to wipe our sorrows. Atleast we can whitewash them at home with comfort.

Unfortunately just by how the day went, I think it was a decent effort from the bowlers. 7 wickets in the day any captain would take it. But the damage which our batsman has had in the team, unfortunutely means we have had another thrashing.

In all honesty I think India should rather play 2/3 match test series. We dont have physically fit bowlers and batsman that can play more matches with consistency. Either BCCI gives them a decent rest or just dont have 4/5test series. Its doing more damage to Indian cricket and such thrashing are bound to damage the loyalties of the fans. This 3 years in a row now....

When I look at Australia, they have had rest for like 4 months now. I dont think India get that much rest in a 2 year period let alone 1.

Am not mocking India really.. Its not easy for subconintent teams playing away to Eng/Sa/Aus..
Test history has proven this.
The bbci have huge amounts of money and they don't seem to care about test cricket.. If they did .. they could have solved some of the problems years ago.. Like playing Indian teams in over seas domestic cricket.
Am sure with all the money involved. Australia would allow another team to play in their domestic set up. theres only 8 now I believe..
The conditions in India play a big part to how India preform away from home.

Afridi agree with that.. Pakistan in the past had some good fast bowlers and your team managed to bowl teams out cheaply. The problem with India..is how the play at home. you are guaranteed 5 full days of cricket.so they pack the sides with spinners and play a nutrisional game of patience.. it doesn't work in England or abroad. because you get bowled out cheaply and games move on quicker.

Pakistan have always had decent bowlers and (when they aren't taking back handers ) they don't disappoint bowling wise in these conditions, but our batsmen are woeful on these pitches as well...

In 2016, India visit England again, but play 2 test series in May-June... Then it's Pakistan vs England in a 4 test series encounter!!
