Dale Steyn coming back on
May aswell play the lions in the next match. Guarantee they'd put up more of a fught
During test matches, some grounds were half empty on weekdays. We were told its because people are at work.
ODIS - everyone seems to be jumping and enjoying themselves on a weekday.
Why the difference?

Maybe more unemployed fans on one side?
Cricket isn't really a poor persons sport in England.
The ECB have definitely priced many working class fans and students out of the game. Having looked at the prices for both the Tests and ODI it definitely is not worth it when you have to pay close to £85/person especially when your going with family.
How much are the tickets for ODIS?
Let's be honest the ideal game for the Asians is one day cricket before test cricket hence the crowds. Can't get hold of any developer today which wasn't the case during the test series.
Probably the same number if English fans go to both. But no Indians went to the test matches, and in the ODIs it's basically a home game for india
Don't blame them though, they've grown up with t20 and that being all that matters

Or...more people are interested in ODI cricket. In both nations
A decent ticket costs upwards of £70 in the ODI's and the cheapest ones are usually restricted views or very high up. Much rather go and watch the football at Anfield than pay ridiculous prices like that to be honest.
In england that's not the case. Especially when we play the Aussies. The majority of English cricket fans would rather win the Ashes than a one day tournament

Go and check viewing figures for ODI cricket in comparison to Tests in England. Not just the Ashes and games against India.
Check the viewing figures
Check the turnouts for 20\20 county games compared to 4 days.
Its not India..or England..most nations are going down this road
Albion we don't see it that way. We'd rather lose a test series to India if it means we win either a 50 over or T20 World cup.
Of course that's the case in county cricket. I'm international, test matches always have been and always will be the pinnacle
I think subcontinent teams prefer odi cricket. because they have a better chance of winning over the shorter format.
India in their entire test playing history have never won a series in SA or Aus.. and only have 6 test wins in England. its very shoddy.
easier to win 1 day matches.
also to add.. 20\20 cricket started in England........

Not really. Liverpool are worse. All tickets for anfield sold out until January. Second half of season tickets only available from first jan. You can only get a box seat at anfield costing £120 each person. It's a shambles.
Kash Pakistan have been excellent in outdoing India in random limited overs series' over the years but absolutely useless against us in crunch games in the world cup. That might have to change to challenge next year.

Blah blah ..your getting your bottoms spanked today
ok..so lets say..
ODI cricket has better viewing figures in England
Better crowds
Both international and county level (for counties compare 20\20 to the 4 day formats)
would you say England fans are more interested in Test cricket...the evidence points to ODIs
Pakistan are similar to India in regards there approach to cricket. Look at the number of tests they play a year.
An ashes series will have better viewing figures
Have you seen how many Indians are in this ground. Way over half
lefty.. no because most ppl watch cricket on tv. . odi cricket is easier to attend than 5 days of test matches.
I know most England fans prefer test cricket.. I personally don't care about 20/20 for instance.. anyone can win. its a lottery.
