In the 2nd ODI, India were 150 after 35 overs and got to 300. But don't think anyone can realistically see England doing that
Oops.
Even 150 off 35 overs means scoring at 4.28 an over - more than a run an over quicker than we're scoring at the moment.
Need to try and get to 165/170 off 40
I think the second part of "scoreboard" pressure is about to begin.
Lets see how these 2 handle it.
England will need a Buttler special to get beyond 250.
Jadeja you legend!!!
I guess they dident handle the pressure well
As ganguly said, This is going to tell nothing about how well India have played. Their weaknesses have always been death bowling, but England have given India zero opportunity to see how well they do towards the end.
Im happy that MS has accepted that there is a long way for India to go before they can say they will do well in WC. Which means he knows there are areas where India still need to sort their problems out.
The fielding has been really good from India's side. Wish India had rauna as a test player, he would make a massive difference in slip catching.
I think I can safely say Eng have no chance in this WC.
LOOOOL - One word that describes Eng against spin
Looks like some fans are using the same travel agent as me
Any other team in the world after winning 3-1 in tests would annihalate that team in limited overs.
The roles have reversed completely. Not a single 50 from England in this ODIs. ANd this pitch is not even turning.
The reason why Eng dont struggle against spin in tests is cause they dont have to score runs. here they have to.
ANd people that think Aus will win in UAE, they will be annihalated there as well. They have the same problem, cant play spin. Wud be suprised if Mitch is as effective. Pace alone cannot get you wickets on flat tracks.
am here,, cant be assed with it.. England have never been good at odi cricket.. and never will be.
Guess the only slight positive is I'd rather be good at test matches than ODIs
Think we may do ok in the t20 mind, a much better squad

Also note, Ajmal may not play
Even if he gets out, at least moeen has some intent to his batting
the problem with England in odi cricket is intent. all round England aren't an arrogant team..and it appears more in odi when you need to get on with it..
Australia would rather be bowled out for an 120 in 15 overs.. than bat 45 overs and get 150.
With England its always the wait and see what happens. musnt over do it attitude,.
Apart from moeen, everyone else seems to play for their average...
Really doesn't take a genius, put the bowlers under pressure and they'll bowl four balls
You can understand where Swann is coming from.. as a spinner he was always attacked in odi cricket.. they went after him. England batsmen do not do it against other teams spinners. It must be frustraiting.
Thank god for this powerplay... finally someone's getting on with it
He's playing like you'd expect England cricketers to play, he's a top batsmen in county one day cricket. His technique will always be under scrutiny in tests, much like the indians
